Honda Biz 125 2026 Stands Out With Ethanol Support and a Left-Hand Rear Brake

Honda has introduced the Biz 125 2026 in Brazil with a setup that is more commuter-focused than most small motorcycles in its class. The model combines low running costs, practical city use, and support for ethanol, a fuel choice that fits the Brazilian market well.

For urban riders, that combination matters because the Biz 125 is aimed squarely at daily mobility. It is positioned as a 125 cc commuter model designed to keep fuel use efficient while remaining easy to live with in stop-and-go traffic.

One of its most unusual controls is on the left handlebar

Instead of the rear brake pedal that many riders expect, Honda places the rear brake lever on the left handlebar. This layout is different from models such as the Honda Wave or Supra X and gives the Biz 125 a distinct operating feel in crowded city riding.

Honda also equips the motorcycle with Combi Brake System, or CBS, which helps distribute braking force more evenly between the front and rear wheels. In dense traffic, that setup is meant to support easier control and more confidence during frequent braking.

Small wheels, compact engine, and a fuel-flexible setup

The Biz 125 uses an asymmetrical wheel arrangement with a 17-inch front wheel and a 14-inch rear wheel. That configuration contributes to the model’s commuter-oriented character and helps define its compact road presence.

Under the bodywork, Honda uses a 123.9 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that produces 9.3 hp and 10.1 Nm of torque. More notably, the engine can run on either gasoline or ethanol, which adds flexibility for riders in a market where ethanol use is already familiar.

Two versions and their prices

Honda sells the Biz 125 2026 in two variants, ES and EX. The ES version starts at 13,505 Real, while the EX is priced at 16,849 Real.

Those prices place the Biz 125 in the commuter category with a clear focus on practicality rather than premium equipment. Honda’s approach shows how the brand continues to tailor regional products to local fuel habits and everyday riding conditions.
