OnePlus Nord Buds 4 Bring ANC and 54-Hour Battery to a Lower Price Tier

OnePlus has expanded its audio lineup with the Nord Buds 4, a more affordable option that follows the Nord Buds 4 Pro launched in March. In India, the new true wireless earbuds arrive with a feature set that is uncommon in the 500,000-rupiah class, including Active Noise Cancellation, up to 54 hours of battery life, and modern connectivity.

The launch reflects OnePlus’ strategy to reach buyers who want capable wireless earbuds without moving into the premium segment. Even at a lower price point, the company still keeps several features that were previously associated with the Pro model.

Audio tuning and connectivity

The Nord Buds 4 use a 12 mm dynamic driver designed to deliver strong bass while keeping vocals clear. The earbuds also support AAC and SBC codecs to maintain stable audio transmission.

On the connectivity side, the device runs on Bluetooth 6.1. OnePlus says the update helps keep the connection more stable while reducing power consumption.

There are, however, a few compromises to keep the price competitive. The standard model does not include the LHDC 5.0 high-resolution codec, and it also skips direct swipe volume control on the stem.

Even so, OnePlus says the sound tuning on the Nord Buds 4 remains the same as the Pro version. That means the audio character is still intended to stay consistent within the lineup.

For entertainment and gaming, OnePlus includes OnePlus 3D Spatial Audio and Game Sound Spatial Audio. The earbuds also support Google Fast Pair, Microsoft Swift Pair, dual-device connectivity, AI Translation, AI assistant integration, and touch controls.

ANC, microphones, and daily durability

One of the main selling points is Active Noise Cancellation. The feature keeps the Nord Buds 4 relevant for users who want to hear music or content with less outside interference.

For calls, each earbud carries a total of six microphones. The system works with AI-powered noise reduction so the user’s voice stays clearer during phone calls or virtual meetings.

OnePlus also gives the device an IP55 rating. That level of protection indicates resistance to dust and water splashes, including sweat during outdoor use.

Large battery and fast charging

On battery life, each earbud has a 62mAh battery, while the charging case carries 530mAh. That combination is one of the main reasons the Nord Buds 4 stand out in the low-price segment.

With ANC turned off, OnePlus claims the earbuds can play music for up to 13 hours. Combined with the case, total endurance reaches 54 hours.

With ANC enabled, runtime drops to 6.5 hours on the earbuds and 27 hours in total with the case. Charging is also relatively quick, taking about 55 minutes for the earbuds and around 90 minutes for a full charge through USB Type-C.

Price and availability

In India, the OnePlus Nord Buds 4 carries an official price of 3,499 Rupee, or around Rp680 ribuan. For the launch period, OnePlus is offering a 400 Rupee discount, bringing the introductory price down to 3,099 Rupee, or around Rp600 ribuan.

Buyers can choose between Astral Teal and Stellar Black. Sales are scheduled to begin on July 1 through the official OnePlus online store, trusted retail partners, and other official sales channels in India.
