Motorola is reportedly preparing to give its latest foldable a major advantage for people who move between Android and Apple devices. The Razr Fold appears to be gaining Quick Share support with AirDrop compatibility, which could make file transfers far easier across iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
The update matters because it reduces the friction of sharing files without extra apps or workarounds. For users who regularly send photos, documents, contacts, or other files between platforms, the change could save time and simplify daily use.

Google had previously confirmed that the Razr Fold would soon gain AirDrop compatibility through Quick Share. The latest appearance of the feature suggests that rollout is now beginning to surface on Motorola hardware.
The feature is no longer limited to Pixel phones
Google expanded Quick Share last year by adding AirDrop support. The first public debut came on the Pixel 10 series, and other Android brands have since been added to the growing list.

For some buyers, easier file transfer to Mac or iPhone may matter as much as the large displays or top-tier chipset. If the rollout expands broadly, Motorola will have added one of the most practical cross-ecosystem features currently reaching Android premium phones.
