Two New Xiaomi Models Near Launch, 100W Charging Gives Redmi Hints More Weight

Two unreleased Xiaomi phones have surfaced in China’s 3C certification database, signaling that their launch cycle may already be underway. Both devices are listed with 5G support and wired fast charging of up to 100W.

The appearance is drawing attention because the model numbers arrive shortly after Redmi introduced the Redmi K90 Ultra in China. That timing has fueled speculation that the new devices could also land under the Redmi brand.

What the 3C listing reveals

According to The Tech Outlook, the two Xiaomi devices carry model numbers M511CD and M098FE. They are registered under certificate numbers 2026011606877463 and 2026011606877926 on the China Compulsory Certification platform.

The listing also points to compatibility with Xiaomi’s MDY-18-EW charger. That detail is the strongest clue yet that both phones support 100W wired fast charging.

Model Number Certificate Number Charging Clue Possible Branding
M511CD 2026011606877463 Xiaomi MDY-18-EW, up to 100W wired fast charging Likely Redmi family
M098FE 2026011606877926 Xiaomi MDY-18-EW, up to 100W wired fast charging Likely Redmi family

The marketing names are still unknown. Even so, the similarity between these model numbers and the recently launched Redmi K90 Ultra has made the Redmi connection look increasingly plausible.

Why the timing matters

Certification appearances on 3C are often an early sign that a device is moving closer to commercial release in China. Xiaomi has not announced either model yet, but the certification trail suggests development is progressing.

For now, the database does not reveal the full hardware story. It does not list chipset details, battery size, screen dimensions, or camera configuration for either M511CD or M098FE.

Still, 100W charging stands out as the clearest visible feature. That level of charging is typically reserved for devices that want to emphasize both speed and convenience in daily use.

The backdrop becomes even more interesting when viewed alongside the Redmi K90 Ultra. The newly launched phone comes with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and a large 8,550mAh battery.

Redmi also equipped the K90 Ultra with 100W wired charging. On top of that, it offers up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.

Its other hardware is equally aggressive. The device carries a 6.83-inch display with a 165Hz refresh rate, a dual rear camera system led by a 50-megapixel main sensor, and a D2 AI chip for gaming and graphics.

That does not mean the two newly listed Xiaomi phones will match the K90 Ultra in class or positioning. But the shared charging support shows Xiaomi continues to treat fast charging as a major selling point across its lineup.

Honor appears on the same certification platform

Xiaomi is not the only brand surfacing on 3C right now. An unreleased Honor device also appeared on the same platform, carrying model number MRK-AN00 and certificate number 2026011606877953.

That entry indicates compatibility with HN-110410C00 and HN-110410C01 chargers, pointing to 45W wired fast charging. The device had already shown up on China’s TENAA certification site before this 3C appearance.

TENAA details suggest the Honor MRK-AN00 uses a 6.87-inch TFT display. Its camera setup is listed as a 50-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera.

The device is also expected to arrive in several memory combinations. Those options include 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB of RAM, along with 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB of storage.

For now, neither Xiaomi nor Honor has made official launch announcements for these models. Even so, the certification trail suggests each is steadily moving toward a closer unveiling in China.
