Samsung says Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7 are no longer being treated as novelty foldables in Indonesia. Internal data released on 29 June 2026 shows that more than 70 percent of users recommend both devices as tools for productivity and daily activity.
That pattern points to a shift in how foldable phones are being used. Instead of serving only as attention-grabbing devices, the two models are now being folded into work routines, communication habits, and content creation.
Fold7’s multitasking remains the main draw
For Galaxy Z Fold7, the most used feature is Multi-Windows Viewing Experience. The larger display allows several apps to run at the same time, reducing the need to switch back and forth across screens.
That setup is useful for virtual meetings, sharing screens, taking notes, replying to messages, and looking up references at the same time. Samsung says the wider workspace also helps simplify workflows that previously required more than one device.
Team Galaxy member Maxime Bouttier uses the Galaxy Z Fold7 for content production and professional tasks. He said the large screen makes it easier to review photos, campaign material, and work documents with more comfort.
