Apple’s MacBook lineup in Indonesia has entered a new price range, with increases now visible across the board from MacBook Neo to MacBook Pro M5. The adjustments are significant, ranging from Rp 2,75 juta to Rp 9,5 juta depending on the model and configuration.
The sharpest increase is found on the 14-inch MacBook Pro with M5 Pro chip, 24 GB of RAM, and 1 TB of storage. The model is now listed at Rp 58.499.000, which is Rp 9,5 juta higher than its launch price.
Stock shortages add another problem for buyers
Price increases are only part of the current situation. Several models are still unavailable for purchase because official distributor stock has run out, even though the new pricing is already displayed online.
All MacBook Neo variants and MacBook Air M5 models are currently marked as sold out at Apple’s official reseller stores in Indonesia. Buyers can see the revised prices, but for now they cannot complete a purchase for those two lines.
Apple and its local distributors have not yet announced when those models will return to stock. Some MacBook Pro M5 configurations, however, are still available and can be purchased.
MacBook Pro and Air absorb the biggest jumps
The MacBook Pro family recorded the largest increases in rupiah terms. In addition to the top configuration, the 14-inch MacBook Pro M5 Pro with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of SSD storage now costs Rp 49.499.000 after a Rp 9 juta increase.
Another affected model is the 14-inch MacBook Pro with M5 chip, 16 GB of RAM, and 1 TB of storage. Its new price is Rp 38.999.000, up Rp 7,5 juta from launch.
MacBook Air M5 models also saw notable revisions, especially on higher-capacity variants. The increases in this lineup range from Rp 4,5 juta to Rp 8 juta.
The entry price for MacBook Air M5 now starts at Rp 25.249.000 for the 13-inch version with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of SSD storage. That model is Rp 4,75 juta more expensive than when it was first introduced.
The 15-inch version with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage is now priced at Rp 28.999.000, reflecting a Rp 4,5 juta increase.
On the 1 TB storage tier, the 13-inch MacBook Air M5 with 16 GB of RAM is listed at Rp 31.499.000, while the 15-inch version is Rp 35.499.000. Both models are up Rp 7,5 juta.
The steepest rise in the Air line affects the 24 GB RAM variants with 1 TB SSD storage. The 13-inch version is now Rp 35.499.000 and the 15-inch version is Rp 39.499.000, with both rising Rp 8 juta.
MacBook Neo remains the cheapest option, but it is not untouched
MacBook Neo still sits at the lowest end of Apple’s laptop range, but it has also been adjusted upward. The increase is the smallest in the lineup, though it still matters for an entry-level machine.
The MacBook Neo 8 GB/256 GB model now sells for Rp 13.499.000. The 8 GB/512 GB version is priced at Rp 15.749.000, and both are Rp 2,75 juta higher than their original launch prices.

Apple previously said the global increase in MacBook and iPad prices was triggered by rising memory and storage component costs. The company linked that pressure to stronger demand for chips used in artificial intelligence data centers.
Apple also said it had tried to absorb the higher costs for as long as possible, but the price adjustment could no longer be avoided. For buyers in Indonesia, the result is a wider gap between configurations, especially on models with more RAM and storage.
