Anker has brought the Nano 70W Double-GaN Portable Charger to Indonesia, and its main appeal is simple: a charger that is small enough to carry easily but strong enough to handle a laptop.
The device delivers up to 70W from a single USB-C port, which makes it suitable for high-performance portable computers such as the MacBook Air 15-inch. It is also compatible with devices that need 65W and 67W charging, giving it a broader role than a typical compact adapter.
Compact size, stronger output
Anker says the Nano 70W is about 54% smaller in volume than the original 67W MacBook charger. That size advantage is meant to make it easier to slip into a bag without taking much space.
The company positions the charger for people who move between airports, hotels, coworking spaces, and cafes. Flame Xia, Country Director of Anker Innovations Indonesia, said users now want a charger that is powerful for laptops but still easy to carry anywhere.

Three ports for multiple devices
Beyond its single-port peak output, the charger also includes three charging ports. The mix of USB-C and USB-A allows users to power several devices at the same time without carrying separate adapters.
When all ports are used together, the total charging output reaches 65W. That makes it practical for users who need to charge a laptop and a smartphone in one setup.
Anker says the layout was designed for people who work with more than one device and want a more efficient charging routine.
Double-GaN aims to control heat
High-wattage chargers often face heat management challenges, especially in smaller bodies. To address that, Anker uses Double-GaN technology based on Gallium Nitride.
The company says the design improves power conversion efficiency while reducing heat during charging. It also says the device has received TÜV Rheinland certification for surface temperatures that are lower than those of typical mini 70W chargers.
That focus on thermal control is meant to improve long-term reliability and make the charger more comfortable to use during extended sessions. Flame Xia said the company’s innovation focuses not only on charging speed but also on safety and comfort when the device operates at high power.
