Nokia 210 4G Gets an AI Button and USB-C, A Classic Feature Phone Feels Upgraded

Nokia 210 4G stands out because it keeps the familiar feel of a keypad phone while adding features that are usually associated with more modern devices. The result is a compact feature phone that aims to stay useful for everyday communication without losing its simple identity.

HMD Global, which holds the Nokia brand license, announced the device on 3 July 2026 and scheduled its launch for July 2026. In a market dominated by smartphones, the model is positioned as a practical alternative for users who still value physical buttons, light weight, and long battery life.

Small body, familiar controls

The phone measures 126.1 x 50.5 x 13 mm and weighs 92.7 grams, making it easy to carry in a pocket or bag. It is offered in Dark Blue and Silver, with a straightforward design that matches its no-frills purpose.

A 2.4-inch TFT LCD panel handles the display, with a 240 x 320 pixel resolution, a 4:3 aspect ratio, and a pixel density of around 167 ppi. The screen-to-body ratio sits at about 28 percent, which reflects the compact layout typical of a feature phone.

Physical keys remain one of the main selling points, especially for users who prefer typing messages on a tactile keypad. A 3.5 mm audio jack is also included, giving wired earphone users an easy connection option.

Modern touches inside a simple phone

Under the hood, Nokia 210 4G runs S30+ and comes with 64 MB of RAM and 128 MB of internal storage. That modest setup is aimed at core functions rather than app-heavy workloads, keeping the device focused on reliability.

The phone also supports microSDHC expansion of up to 32 GB, which adds room for essential files. For connectivity, it covers 2G, 3G, and 4G LTE, allowing wider network access where 4G service is available.

Bluetooth 5.0 is included for file sharing and accessories, while Dual Nano-SIM support helps users manage two numbers on one device. One of the most notable additions is the AI button, which can trigger voice commands for tasks such as setting reminders, opening the camera, turning on the flashlight, and making calls.

Cameras and calling features

Nokia 210 4G uses a VGA 0.3 MP rear camera with LED flash, and it adds a VGA 0.3 MP front camera as well. The front sensor supports video calls through the Xpress Chat app, which gives the phone a feature that is still uncommon in this category.

That front camera makes the handset more versatile for basic visual communication. It also supports voice messages, text messages, photos, and emojis for private or group conversations.

Battery life remains a major advantage

The removable 1,450 mAh Li-Ion battery is one of the device’s strongest practical features. HMD Global says it can last up to 13 days on standby and up to 9 hours of talk time.

Beyond communication, the phone includes an MP3 player, games, and Cloud Phone Service. Through that service, users can also access weather updates, news, and sports results.

USB Type-C completes the list of notable upgrades and makes the phone feel more current than many older keypad models. Combined with the AI button, front camera, Bluetooth 5.0, and 4G support, Nokia 210 4G shows how a basic phone can be updated without losing its core identity.

No pricing information has been announced so far, and the selling price is expected to vary by market when official sales begin.
