Oppo Find X10 Pro Max’s 3x 200MP Camera Test, A Flagship Move Rivals Can’t Ignore

Oppo Find X10 Pro Max is shaping up to be one of the most aggressive flagship phones in the lineup, mainly because of a camera setup that is still being tested at prototype stage. The latest leak suggests Oppo is evaluating a rear system with three 200MP sensors, a configuration that would put the device far above most premium phones in sheer camera ambition.

That detail alone is enough to draw attention, but the timing matters too. According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the device could arrive before the Find X10 Ultra appears in the first half of 2027, with www.gizmochina.com reporting the leak.

Three 200MP cameras under testing

The engineering prototype of the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max is reportedly powered by a 2nm Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset. More notably, Oppo is said to be testing three 200MP rear cameras, covering the main camera, ultra-wide camera, and periscope telephoto camera.

ComponentReported DetailNotes
Main camera200MPAbout 1/1.3-inch sensor
Ultra-wide camera200MPAbout 1/1.5-inch sensor
Periscope telephoto camera200MPAbout 1/1.3-inch sensor

That combination would make the Find X10 Pro Max unusually extreme even by flagship standards. Oppo is still hoping to keep this setup for the final model, although the hardware remains under evaluation.

Display and software details point to a premium focus

Camera hardware is not the only headline here. Earlier leaks indicate a 6.89-inch LTPO OLED display from BOE with 2K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, BT.2020 color support, and very slim bezels.

The software side is also expected to move forward with ColorOS 17 based on Android 17. For selfies, Oppo is reportedly preparing a 50MP front camera with autofocus, while the rear setup may also include a 3MP multispectral sensor for better color accuracy.

What remains unknown

Even with these details, the picture is not complete. Battery capacity and charging speed have not been revealed yet, leaving two of the most practical specifications still hidden.

If the current schedule holds, Digital Chat Station says the device may launch between September and October alongside other flagship smartphones whose specifications have been revised. That would place the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max among the most watched launches in the closing stretch of the year.

For now, the most striking part of the leak is simple: Oppo appears to be pushing the Find X10 Pro Max well beyond the usual premium formula. A triple 200MP camera system is a bold statement, even before the phone becomes final.
