HMD Arc 2 arrives with a familiar approach: keep the price low, keep the hardware modest, and make only the changes that matter most. The biggest update is the move to Unisoc T603, which replaces the chipset used on the previous HMD Arc.
The rest of the package stays firmly in entry-level territory. That includes Android 14 Go Edition, a 5,000mAh battery, and a single rear camera, all aimed at users who need a simple phone for everyday tasks.
What HMD is offering in Thailand
According to reports cited by www.gadgets360.com from NokiaMob, HMD Arc 2 will launch in Thailand in two versions. The 4GB + 64GB model is priced at THB 2,290, while the 4GB + 128GB model will cost THB 2,990.
| Variant | RAM / Storage | Price | Color Options |
|---|---|---|---|
| HMD Arc 2 | 4GB + 64GB | THB 2,290 | Dark Blue, Golden Beige |
| HMD Arc 2 | 4GB + 128GB | THB 2,990 | Dark Blue, Golden Beige |
The phone will be available in Dark Blue and Golden Beige. Sales in Thailand are expected to begin on 20 July, while HMD has not announced plans for other markets.
Specifications remain basic, but practical
HMD Arc 2 is said to use a 6.52-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. Performance comes from the 12nm Unisoc T603, which is listed with clock speeds of up to 1.8GHz and paired with 4GB of RAM.
Storage is available at 64GB or 128GB, and both versions support MicroSD expansion. On the software side, Android 14 Go Edition is included to suit lower-spec hardware.
For imaging, the phone is expected to feature a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera placed inside a water drop-style notch. Connectivity remains straightforward as well, with a 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C port included.
Battery life stays a major selling point
The 5,000mAh battery is one of the clearest advantages in the spec sheet, especially for a device positioned at this price level. HMD also keeps 10W wired charging, while maintaining the same overall design language as the original HMD Arc.
That combination points to a phone built around practicality rather than novelty. HMD Arc 2 is aimed at buyers who want a low-cost handset with a large battery and enough hardware for basic daily use.
