Asus is preparing to bring the Asus Pad to India on August 6 at 12:00 local time. Its 12.2-inch OLED display, with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 3:2 aspect ratio, stands out as the tablet’s central feature ahead of release.
The company has not announced an Indian price for the device. That leaves the display-focused hardware as the clearest indication so far of how Asus intends to position its return to the Android tablet market.
A screen built around a 3:2 format
The OLED panel has a resolution of 2,800 x 1,840 pixels and reaches up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness. Its 3:2 format sets the Asus Pad apart from many tablets that use wider display proportions.
Asus has paired the display with four speakers that support Dolby Atmos 360. The combination places both visual and audio hardware among the headline specifications confirmed before the Indian launch.

Asus Pad will run Android 16. The software version is part of the launch details disclosed for the device, along with its memory and storage configurations.
