India is receiving a Tecno Camon 50 Ultra variant with a 6,500 mAh battery, a larger capacity than the 6,150 mAh unit offered in some other markets. That difference gives the Indian model a distinct advantage before sales begin.
The handset is set to go on sale exclusively through Amazon.in on 21 July for INR39,999. Tecno has not yet disclosed the RAM and storage configuration for the Indian release.
A Larger Battery Sets the Indian Model Apart
The 6,500 mAh battery supports 45W charging for daily use. Apart from battery capacity, the Indian version is said to retain the main specifications of the model available elsewhere.
GSMArena reports that the device uses the Dimensity 7400 Ultimate chipset. It runs HiOS 16 based on Android 16.

The phone has a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a 2,644 x 1,208-pixel resolution. Its 144Hz refresh rate is intended to deliver smoother on-screen motion.
Tecno promises three years of Android operating system updates for the device. The company also promises security updates for five years.
Three 50MP Cameras Lead the Imaging Setup
The front camera uses a 50MP sensor and includes autofocus. At the rear, the main 50MP camera is equipped with optical image stabilization, or OIS.
A 50MP telephoto camera provides 3x optical zoom. The rear system also includes an 8MP ultrawide camera with a 112-degree field of view.

Durability Ratings and Underwater Photography
The Camon 50 Ultra includes an in-display fingerprint scanner and Dolby Atmos support. It carries MIL-STD-810H certification alongside IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings.
The protection package is paired with support for underwater photography. Indian buyers will be able to choose Nebula Titanium, Cypress Green, or Misty Purple.
The larger battery is the clearest distinction for India, while the remaining specifications retain a high-refresh-rate display and a camera system led by 50MP sensors. Memory and storage details remain the outstanding information ahead of the 21 July sale.
