Honor Pad X9 Max combines a large 13-inch display with a 10,100mAh battery, targeting entertainment and light productivity in a slim aluminium body. The tablet measures 6.72mm thick, while its weight is approximately 618 grams.
Its LCD panel has a 2,500 x 1,560-pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It also supports 1.07 billion colours, reaches up to 700 nits of HBM brightness, and has an 88 percent screen-to-body ratio.
Large display, but not OLED
The screen is the device’s central advantage for users who read, stream video, or keep several pieces of content open at once. However, Honor has opted for LCD technology rather than an OLED panel.
Honor includes a paper-like display mode and DC dimming for longer viewing sessions. The tablet also has TÜV Rheinland certifications for low blue light and flicker-free viewing.
Four speakers with IMAX Enhanced support accompany the large display. This combination places multimedia consumption at the centre of the product’s appeal, while the camera system remains relatively basic.
The rear camera is a 5MP unit with autofocus, and the front camera is also rated at 5MP. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, and USB Type-C.
Battery and hardware configuration
The tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 platform, with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. Storage can be expanded with a microSD card of up to 2TB.
Its 10,100mAh battery supports 45W fast charging. Honor states that the capacity can provide up to 16 hours of video playback or up to 13 hours of reading on a single charge.

Software built around cross-platform work
Honor Pad X9 Max runs MagicOS 10 based on Android 16. The software includes AI Memo and desktop-style file management for handling documents and other content.
File sharing is supported across Android, iOS, HarmonyOS, Windows, and macOS devices. This may be useful for users who move files between different hardware ecosystems.
Honor also supports optional accessories, including the Honor Magic Pencil 4s and Smart Bluetooth Keyboard. These accessories expand the tablet’s role for note-taking, typing, and simple work tasks.
Listed in the UK, sales not yet underway
Gizmochina reported that the tablet has appeared on Honor’s UK website, although sales have not started. Honor has not announced launch offers or availability details for other markets.
The device is offered only in Gray and measures 297.62 x 192.72 x 6.72mm. It follows the Honor Pad X9, introduced in 2023, and the Pad X9a, which arrived in 2025.
With its wider display, high-capacity battery, expandable storage, and optional accessories, Honor Pad X9 Max takes a different direction within the series. Its specification mix is focused on extended viewing and everyday tasks rather than advanced camera performance.
