Oppo Reno 15 & 15 Pro Specs Revealed: 200MP Camera and Large Battery Ahead of Launch

Oppo is set to launch its new Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro smartphones, with full specifications leaked ahead of the official debut. The upcoming models boast substantial upgrades, including a massive battery and a groundbreaking 200MP camera sensor, positioning them strongly in the mid-range premium segment.

Both devices have been registered on China Telecom’s website, confirming key specifications and features. The launch is expected in late November 2025 in China, followed by a global rollout in early 2026.

Performance and Software

The Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset. Built on a 4nm process, this chipset improves efficiency by approximately 15% compared to its predecessor, promising smooth and energy-efficient performance. These phones will ship with Android 16 and feature Oppo’s latest ColorOS 15 interface. ColorOS 15 introduces refined animations and AI-powered functionalities, aiming to enhance usability and system responsiveness.

Camera Highlights

A standout feature for the Reno 15 series is its advanced camera setup. The standard Reno 15 will sport a 200MP primary sensor, likely the Samsung ISOCELL HP3, which is among the highest-resolution sensors available in smartphones today. Accompanying the main sensor are a 50MP ultrawide lens, a 50MP telephoto lens, and a 50MP front-facing camera. The Pro variant keeps a similar core camera configuration but adds improved optical image stabilization and AI-driven image processing for better photo and video quality.

Design and Display

Both models feature a premium design with an aluminum alloy frame. They incorporate flat displays with ultra-thin bezels measuring about 1.15 millimeters. This design choice aims to provide a sleek and modern look while maximizing screen-to-body ratio, catering to users who favor large and immersive displays.

Battery and Charging

Battery capacity is another area where Oppo is raising the bar. The Reno 15 comes with a hefty 6,200 mAh battery, whereas the Reno 15 Pro offers a slightly larger 6,300 mAh cell. Both support Oppo’s SuperVOOC 100W fast charging technology, enabling rapid battery replenishment and minimizing downtime. This combination promises extended usage and quick recharging for power users.

Color Variants

Color options have also been revealed through leaks. The Reno 15 will be available in Aurora Blue, Canele Brown, and Starlight Bow. The Pro model replaces the Aurora Blue variant with Honey Gold, offering a luxurious aesthetic.

Pricing and Availability

Although Oppo has not officially announced pricing, tech media reports in China suggest the following estimated prices:

  1. Reno 15: CNY 3,499 (approximately $500 USD)
  2. Reno 15 Pro: CNY 4,299 (approximately $615 USD)

The devices are expected to debut officially at the end of November 2025 in China. Following this, a global launch is anticipated in early 2026, with markets in Southeast Asia, including Indonesia, likely to receive the new Reno 15 series early.

With these features and specifications, Oppo aims to capture attention in the competitive mid-range smartphone market. The focus on a large battery, fast charging, and high-resolution camera technology reaffirms the brand’s strategy to deliver premium experience at accessible price points. Early adopters and tech enthusiasts will be keen to see how these innovations perform once the phones hit the shelves.
