Indonesia Gadget Award (IGA) 2025 was held on November 13, recognizing the top players in Indonesia’s tech industry. This year’s theme focused on "AI for sustainable collaboration," highlighting the growing role of artificial intelligence in gadgets.
The event was organized by Gizmologi and GadgetDiva, with support from Counterpoint Research and insights from IT expert Onno W. Purbo. The awards celebrated innovation that responds to societal needs and technological shifts.
Key Highlights of IGA 2025
Two major awards went to OPPO and Samsung. OPPO’s Find X9 Pro was named Gadget of the Year 2025. Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 7 won Best Gadget for Women, showcasing appeal in design and smart features.
Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison was acknowledged as the Most Innovative Telco Operator through its Satspam service. Also, Telkomsel received awards for Best Network Technology, affirming their leadership in connectivity.
AI Integration in Gadgets
IGA 2025 gave special recognition to AI capabilities in devices. The Best AI Smartphone category awarded Honor 400 for productivity and realme GT 7 for gaming. AI features such as photo editing, speech transcription, and document summarizing were highlighted by co-founder of GadgetDiva, Siti Sarifah Aliah.
She emphasized that AI extends beyond entertainment into productivity and seamless device ecosystems. This focus aligns with the event’s theme and current tech industry trends worldwide.
