Motorola made a striking impression at CES 2026 in Las Vegas by unveiling three new smartphones, showcasing innovation across different market segments. These devices include the premium flagship Motorola Signature, the first large-screen foldable Razr Fold, and the limited-edition Razr 60 FIFA World Cup 2026 model.
The Motorola Signature stands out as the company’s latest non-foldable premium smartphone. It features a sleek, modern design consistent with Motorola’s identity. A highlight is its quad-camera setup, with four 50MP sensors, including a Sony LYT 828 main camera with OIS and autofocus, a 122-degree ultrawide lens, a telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP selfie camera. The phone’s 6.8-inch AMOLED display supports a 165Hz refresh rate and brightness up to 6,200 nits, protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
Under the hood, the Signature is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. It comes in configurations ranging from 12GB/256GB to a massive 16GB/1TB. Its 5,200 mAh battery supports fast charging at 90W via USB-C and wireless charging at 50W. The phone carries IP68 and IP69 certifications, making it resistant to dust, water, and even high-temperature water sprays. Additional features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, infrared blaster, stereo speakers, triple microphones, and runs on Android 16 with seven years of guaranteed updates. Motorola offers this device in two Pantone colors, with pricing starting at about $1,100 in the UK.
Motorola also introduced the Razr Fold, its first book-style foldable smartphone with an 8.09-inch main OLED display and a 6.56-inch external OLED screen. Both screens deliver a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The camera system includes five lenses: 50MP main, 50MP ultrawide with autofocus, and a 50MP telephoto lens on the back, alongside a 32MP selfie camera on the outer screen and a 20MP selfie shooter on the inside. Though detailed specs remain limited, Motorola confirmed an expected launch in 2026 with color options of Pantone Blackened Blue and Lily White.
The third showcase is the Motorola Razr 60 FIFA World Cup 2026, a special edition to celebrate Motorola’s partnership with FIFA. It features distinctive white and green football-inspired colors and branding including the FIFA logo and the number 26. Exclusive software touches enrich the experience, such as World Cup-themed wallpapers, ringtones, and official FIFA watermarks. Scheduled for release in the U.S. in February 2026, it’s priced at $699.
The Razr 60 model debuted in April 2025 and sports a 6.9-inch AMOLED internal screen at 120Hz and 3,000 nits brightness, supported by a 3.6-inch 90Hz external AMOLED display. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400X chipset, it offers RAM variants of 8GB and 12GB paired with up to 512GB storage. Camera setup includes a 50MP and 13MP dual rear system and a 32MP front shooter. Its 4,500 mAh battery supports 30W fast and 15W wireless charging, alongside stereo speakers, fingerprint sensor on the power button, and IP48 rating.
By launching these three distinct products, Motorola boldly reaffirms its commitment to innovation and competition within the global smartphone market. It strategically targets premium users, foldable phone enthusiasts, and collectors celebrating the global sport event. This diversified approach aims to expand Motorola’s appeal across various consumer groups while enhancing its presence at the forefront of mobile technology advancements.
