Realme Buds Clip Redefines Open-Ear Sound Experience, Buds Air 8 Dominates With Cutting-Edge ANC Technology

Realme has expanded its smart device ecosystem in Indonesia by launching two new audio products alongside the Realme 16 series smartphones. The recently unveiled Realme Buds Clip and Realme Buds Air 8 officially hit the Indonesian market as of March 10, 2026. These True Wireless Stereo (TWS) devices underline Realme’s strategy to cater to different user segments with innovative IoT products.

The Realme Buds Clip targets younger users who prefer a unique open-ear design. Meanwhile, the Buds Air 8 is aimed at those seeking premium audio experiences with advanced Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology. Andrew Pratama Wijaya, Marketing Planner Manager for Realme Indonesia, emphasized that both models prioritize audio quality and user comfort, despite their different design philosophies.

Innovative Open-Ear Design for Buds Clip

Unlike most TWS earbuds, which use the in-ear style, Realme Buds Clip adopts a distinctive open-ear design featuring a C-bridge mechanism. This approach allows the earbuds to clip onto the sides of the ear like earrings, maintaining awareness of ambient sounds. This offers users a balance between enjoying music and staying alert to their surroundings.

The earbuds weigh only 5.3 grams each, contributing to prolonged comfort even during extended use. Advanced audio technology is at the core of the Buds Clip. It features 11 mm large-amplitude dual magnet drivers combined with the Next Bass Algorithm, which ensures punchy yet controlled bass, clear vocals, and balanced treble frequencies.

Additionally, Buds Clip supports 3D Spatial Audio technology, creating immersive soundscapes with a wider sonic field. This is enhanced by Sound-Leap Directional Audio, which keeps the audio focused toward the listener, despite the open-ear configuration.

AI-Powered Features Enhance Usability

Realme incorporates several artificial intelligence-driven capabilities into the Buds Clip, aimed at improving overall user experience. The AI ENC Dual-Mic technology effectively suppresses background noise during calls, ensuring crystal-clear voice transmission in noisy environments.

A standout feature is the AI Translator, which enables real-time translation of conversations across multiple languages. This is particularly useful for users who frequently interact with people from various linguistic backgrounds.

The Buds Clip also supports Dual-Device Connection 2.0, making it possible to seamlessly pair with two devices simultaneously, such as a smartphone and a laptop. This eliminates the need for manual disconnection when switching between devices.

Battery life is another highlight; when paired with its charging case, the Buds Clip can operate for up to 36 hours. The earbuds come with an IP55 rating for dust, sweat, and splash resistance, enhancing durability for active users. They are available in Titanium Black and Titanium Gold color variants.

Realme Buds Air 8: Robust ANC and Premium Sound

The Realme Buds Air 8 features a more conventional stem design with in-ear silicone tips for effective noise isolation. Despite this, each earbud’s light weight of approximately 4.67 grams ensures they remain comfortable for extended wearing sessions.

The design aims to provide stability and fit tailored to the ear’s shape, accommodating various activities including remote work meetings, music listening, and workouts.

Equipped with 11+6 mm Premier Dual Drivers, the Buds Air 8 delivers rich, detailed, and balanced sound. It supports Hi-Res Audio certification and LHDC 5.0 codec, which preserve audio clarity and depth for an enhanced listening experience.

Realme’s 55dB Ultra Depth Noise Cancellation technology represents one of the strongest ANC implementations within this price segment. This allows users to enjoy music, movies, or gaming sessions without disruptions from surrounding noise.

The Buds Air 8 comes in three stylish color options: Master Purple, Master Gold, and Master Grey.

Pricing and Availability in Indonesia

Both Realme Buds Clip and Buds Air 8 are available for preorder in Indonesia starting March 13 through March 18, 2026. The booking can be made via Realme’s official website and selected online marketplaces.

The official pricing for these models are as follows:

  1. Realme Buds Clip: Rp899,000 (~$61)
  2. Realme Buds Air 8: Rp699,000 (~$47)

During the preorder period, Realme offers special promotions including discounts and bonus products. These incentives aim to attract early adopters looking for cutting-edge audio gear at competitive prices.

With their combination of modern design, AI functionalities, and advanced noise cancellation, the Realme Buds Clip and Buds Air 8 are positioned to invigorate the Indonesian TWS market throughout 2026. These innovations reflect Realme’s ongoing commitment to delivering diverse and quality IoT solutions tailored to evolving consumer needs.
