Oppo has expanded its audio lineup with the launch of Enco Clip 2 in China, and the product immediately stands out for refusing to follow the usual TWS formula. Instead of fitting into the ear canal like conventional earbuds, it uses an open-ear clip design that places comfort and everyday practicality at the center of the experience.
That design choice also keeps the surrounding environment audible, which makes the device more suitable for users who want awareness while moving through daily routines. Oppo pairs that approach with a battery claim of up to 40 hours with the charging case, giving Enco Clip 2 a clear appeal for long, uninterrupted use.
An open-ear fit built for longer wear
Enco Clip 2 does not sit inside the ear in the way most wireless earbuds do. It clips around the outer ear, creating a lighter feel that can be more comfortable over extended periods.
Oppo says each earbud weighs about 5.2 grams, a figure that supports the device’s focus on reduced fatigue during long listening sessions. The form factor is also aimed at people who stay active outdoors and prefer not to remove their earphones every time they need awareness of their surroundings.
Durability is another part of the package. The earbuds carry an IP55 rating, which gives them protection against dust and splashes during workouts or other high-mobility activities.
Audio hardware remains a core focus
Even with its open-ear shape, Oppo has not treated Enco Clip 2 as a basic lifestyle accessory. The earbuds use a dual dynamic driver system with 11 mm and 9 mm units, which Oppo says helps deliver a more balanced sound profile.
According to the company, the tuning is meant to make midrange tones clearer, highs smoother, and the overall frequency range wider. That approach is designed to keep the listening experience more immersive, even though the earbuds leave the ear canal open.

Call quality gets support from multiple tools
Oppo has also placed attention on voice pickup for calls, which matters more in an open-ear product than in a sealed design. Enco Clip 2 includes three microphones, AI-backed noise reduction, and a VPU sensor to improve how the wearer’s voice is captured.
Those additions are intended to help during calls in noisy settings, where open-ear products often face more difficulty than in quiet environments. In practice, Oppo is positioning the earbuds not only as a listening device but also as a dependable communication tool for everyday use.
Modern connectivity and broad codec support
On the wireless side, Enco Clip 2 uses Bluetooth 6.1 and supports dual-device pairing. That makes it possible to stay connected to two devices at once, which can simplify switching between a phone and another source device.

Battery performance is one of the clearest highlights here. Oppo claims Enco Clip 2 can deliver up to 9.5 hours of playback on a single charge, while the charging case raises total usage to as much as 40 hours.
The case itself carries a 530 mAh battery and charges through USB-C. Oppo says a full charge for the case takes about 80 minutes, which keeps the recharge process relatively quick for this category.
Price and color options
In China, Oppo Enco Clip 2 is priced at 899 Chinese yuan, while an introductory price of 849 Chinese yuan is available for early buyers. The earbuds come in two color options: High-Gloss Gold and Space Grey.
Availability is currently listed through Oppo China’s official website and major e-commerce platforms in the region.
