Motorola’s latest move in Indonesia brings two very different smartphones into the spotlight, each aimed at a distinct type of user. The company has introduced Motorola Signature and Motorola Edge 70 Fusion, alongside new accessories such as Moto Buds Loop, signaling a broader push toward a more connected device ecosystem.
The launch outlines a clear split in focus. Motorola Signature targets the ultra-premium segment with advanced imaging and a refined design, while Edge 70 Fusion is positioned as a slimmer, lighter option for users who want strong performance without a bulky body.
A premium flagship built around imaging and design
Motorola Signature stands out as the most exclusive model in this release because of its camera credentials and flagship positioning. Motorola says the device has received DXOMARK Gold recognition, placing its imaging system among the key highlights of the phone.
The camera setup uses a Sony LYTIA 828 sensor, which is designed to deliver high-quality photos across different lighting conditions. For video, Dolby Vision support is included to create a more cinematic content-making experience.
Performance is handled by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, paired with AI-based technology to keep the device responsive and efficient under demanding tasks. The hardware package is completed with a precision aluminium frame and premium materials, while the design draws inspiration from luxury textiles such as linen and twill.
Edge 70 Fusion aims for slimness and everyday comfort
Motorola Edge 70 Fusion takes a different route by emphasizing portability. The phone measures 5.99 mm in thickness and weighs 159 grams, making it a more comfortable option for daily use.
Its imaging system centers on a Sony LYTIA 710 sensor, supported by moto ai to help produce more detailed shots, including in low-light situations. The rear camera array includes a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 13MP ultrawide plus macro lens, and a 32MP front camera.
Motorola also says the camera system has been validated by Pantone, which is intended to help ensure more natural color accuracy and skin tones. For endurance, the device carries a 7000mAh silicon-carbon battery, supported by 68W TurboPower fast charging.
Support services are part of the product pitch
Alongside the devices themselves, Motorola is also highlighting after-sales convenience. The company has introduced a Free Pick Up & Return Service that allows users to avoid visiting a service center when repairs are needed.
The process begins with device pickup within 24 hours. After that, certified technicians handle the repair, followed by a quality check before the product is returned at no extra cost, with completion said to take up to 5 working days.
Motorola positions this service as a support layer for premium users, including those considering Motorola Signature and Razr 60. The approach suggests that the brand is trying to build not only a smartphone lineup, but also a more complete ownership experience.
Pricing and availability in Indonesia
Motorola says both devices will be available starting 24 April 2026 through e-commerce channels and official retail stores. The announced prices place each model in a separate market bracket.
