Honor has expanded its tablet lineup in Indonesia with the arrival of the Pad X8b, a device positioned for families, students, and workers who need one screen for mixed daily use. The tablet stands out most for Honor Kids, a parental control feature designed to give children a safer digital environment when the device is shared at home.

The Pad X8b also leans on endurance. Its 10,100 mAh battery is intended to support long hours of use, and Honor claims it can last up to 97 days on standby, up to 22 hours for online video playback, and up to 123 hours for music playback.

A larger display built for study and entertainment

Honor equips the Pad X8b with an 11-inch TFT LCD panel with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels. The screen supports a 90 Hz refresh rate, 207 ppi density, and brightness of up to 500 nits.

The display also carries TÜV Rheinland certification. Honor says this certification is meant to help maintain eye comfort and reduce flicker effects during long usage sessions, which makes the tablet more suitable for extended reading, learning, and streaming.

Performance and storage for everyday tasks

Under the hood, the tablet runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680. Honor pairs the chip with 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, giving users two memory configurations to choose from.

Storage can be expanded further with a microSD card of up to 2 TB. That extra capacity makes the Pad X8b more flexible for school files, apps, and entertainment content that can quickly fill built-in storage.

Camera, software, and audio support

For basic imaging and video calls, the Pad X8b carries a 5 MP rear camera with autofocus and a 5 MP front camera. The tablet runs Android 16 paired with MagicOS 10, while media playback is supported by four speakers.

Honor also includes WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB-C for everyday connectivity. The device is a WiFi-only model, so it does not support a SIM card or 4G and 5G mobile networks.

Built for shared use at home

Honor says the tablet is designed to handle family use more easily, including the risk of accidental drops. The Pad X8b uses a metal chassis and comes with SGS Drop Resistance certification.

Despite its 11-inch screen, the body remains relatively slim and light for its class. It measures 7.25 mm thick and weighs 496 grams, keeping it easier to carry between rooms or pack for travel.

Price and availability in Indonesia

In Indonesia, the Honor Pad X8b is offered in a gray color option. Sales begin at Honor’s official stores, with the tablet available in two variants: 4/128 GB for Rp 3 million and 6/128 GB for Rp 3.3 million.

With its large battery, expandable storage, eye-comfort display, and Honor Kids support, the Pad X8b is placed as an affordable tablet that focuses on family use, visual comfort, and long daily reliability in one device.
