Infinix GT 50 Pro Brings Flagship Gaming Features To Indonesia At A Mid-Range Price

Infinix has expanded its GT lineup in Indonesia with the GT 50 Pro, a mid-range phone designed to deliver a more serious gaming experience without entering premium pricing territory. The device arrives with a package of features that Infinix says are usually associated with higher-end models, making it one of the more attention-grabbing releases in its class.

The device is aimed at users who want stable performance, controlled temperatures, and a more immersive feel during play. That positioning becomes even more relevant in a crowded gaming-phone market, where buyers tend to compare raw specifications against the actual value offered by the price tag.

Gaming-first design with a cooling focus

One of the main talking points around the GT 50 Pro is its cooling system. Infinix uses the slogan “Unleash the Liquid Cooling Beast” to highlight the HydroFlow Liquid Cooling Architecture, which includes a micro-pump liquid cooling system.

According to the company, the cooling layout is designed to cover up to 100% of the chipset area, which is treated as the main heat source. Infinix also mentions a large micro-pump area and high-precision liquid flow channels, both intended to distribute cooling more evenly during heavy workloads.

That approach is meant to help keep temperatures steady in long gaming sessions. If heat is managed more effectively, the phone can reduce the risk of throttling and maintain frame rates with greater consistency when gameplay becomes demanding.

Hardware tuned for high frame-rate gaming

At the core of the GT 50 Pro is the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate built on a 4 nm process. The chipset reaches speeds of up to 3.25 GHz and is claimed to support Native 144 FPS in several popular esports titles.

That specification set places the phone in an appealing position for players who prioritize responsiveness and smoother motion on screen. In competitive games, a stable chipset can make a noticeable difference when matches move quickly and timing matters.

Infinix also adds Dolby Atmos immersive audio to the device. The feature is meant to deliver richer 3D surround sound, helping game sounds feel more alive and making in-game details easier to notice.

Another element included to support gameplay is the N1 Network Chip, which is claimed to improve signal strength by up to 60%. The goal is to keep connectivity stable so lag stays low and the overall gaming experience remains responsive.

GT Trigger extends beyond gaming

The GT Trigger is another feature that helps define the GT 50 Pro. This dual-pressure-sensitive control system supports several input styles, including light pressure, full pressure, and swipe gestures.

Infinix says the feature is intended to support faster and more precise control methods, including setups like claw grip. The phone also offers four input types: tap, hard press, slide left, and slide right.

The feature is not limited to gaming use. It can also be used in photography functions such as tap to shoot and slide to zoom, which gives the control system a broader role in everyday use.

Price, colors, and retail availability

The Infinix GT 50 Pro began official availability in Indonesia on 25 April 2026 at 00.00 WIB through the Infinix Official Store on various e-commerce platforms and authorized retail partners. The phone is offered in three color options: Black Abyss, Red Blaze, and Silver Glacier.

Two storage variants are available. The 12 GB/256 GB model is priced at Rp6.499.000 from the official Rp6.999.000 price, while the 12 GB/512 GB version is sold at Rp7.499.000 from the official Rp7.999.000 price.

Each purchase comes with the GT Cooling Set, which includes the GT 50 Pro unit according to the selected variant and the GT MagCharge Cooler 2.0. The additional cooling accessory will also be sold separately starting 28 April 2026 at Rp499.000.

With its cooling system, high-refresh-rate gaming claims, audio features, and bundled accessories, the GT 50 Pro enters the Indonesian market as an aggressive mid-range option for users looking for a gaming phone with a more complete feature set.
