Tecno’s Spark 50 lineup may soon gain another member, and the latest buzz points to the Spark 50 Pro 5G as the next device in line. The model is drawing attention mainly because of two standout features in early reports: a 6,000mAh battery and 60W wired fast charging.
If those specifications hold, the Spark 50 Pro would arrive as a more attractive option for users who want stronger endurance without giving up relatively quick charging support. The phone is also said to sit between the existing Spark 50 models, expanding the series in a way that gives Tecno more room to target different buyer needs.
A new step in the Spark 50 family
The Spark 50 series has been growing in stages, with the Spark 50 5G introduced in March and the Spark 50 4G following at the beginning of this month. The Pro variant is now expected to complete the middle of the lineup, offering a higher-positioned option without moving too far away from the familiar Spark identity.
Reports indicate that Tecno is preparing a layered rollout for the device. Global markets are said to get it first, while India is expected to see its debut in May. That approach suggests Tecno is not treating the Spark 50 Pro as a standalone release, but as part of a broader push to strengthen the entire series.
Design and display stay within familiar territory
On the design side, the Spark 50 Pro is said to take cues from both the Pova Curve 2 5G and the Spark 50. That points to Tecno keeping a consistent visual language across its products rather than introducing a completely new look.
The display is reportedly a 6.78-inch LCD panel with HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. This setup is aimed at smoother everyday use, especially during scrolling, browsing, and gaming, while keeping the device positioned in the midrange segment.
Performance and software details
Under the hood, the phone is expected to run on the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate. Early leaks also mention up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage, giving the device enough headroom for everyday multitasking and large app or media storage.
Software is another area that may attract attention. The Spark 50 Pro is reportedly set to launch with Android 16 layered with HiOS 16, which would make the user experience one of the more current points in the device’s package if the information proves accurate.
Camera setup adds a practical front-facing touch

At the same time, other leaks have pointed to a 5,600mAh dual-cell battery, while a TUV database listing has mentioned 5,800mAh. The numbers do not fully match yet, but all versions of the report agree on one major point: 60W wired fast charging is expected to be part of the package.
That charging speed would make sense alongside a large battery, especially for users who prioritize shorter charging times and long daily usage. If Tecno confirms the current leak cycle, the Spark 50 Pro could become one of the more closely watched midrange launches in the Spark 50 family.
