10,200mAh in an 8.25mm Body, Vivo Y600 Pro Balances Endurance and Elegance

vivo has expanded its midrange lineup with the Y600 Pro, a model that stands out first and foremost for its 10,200mAh battery. That figure is far above the 5,500mAh cell used in the vivo Y400 Pro, yet the new device still manages to keep a slim and refined profile.

The combination of very large battery capacity and a body that does not look bulky is the main selling point of the Y600 Pro. vivo positions the phone as a practical daily companion for users who want long endurance without sacrificing comfort or appearance.

A large battery without the usual thick frame

The key to that balance lies in vivo’s use of a fourth-generation Silicon-Carbon, or Si-C, battery. This approach allows a much higher capacity to be packed more efficiently, reducing the need for a thicker chassis.

vivo says the battery uses up to 15 percent silicon content and reaches an energy density of 886Wh/L. The 38Wh battery is fitted into a body measuring 8.25mm thick, only 0.4mm thicker than its predecessor even though capacity has increased by 45 percent.

That design choice makes the Y600 Pro different from many other large-battery phones. Instead of appearing heavy or oversized, it keeps a clean and modern look that suits users who want endurance and style in the same device.

Endurance claims and charging features

Battery longevity is another point vivo highlights. The company claims the battery can remain healthy for up to six years of use, which is equivalent to around 1,600 charging cycles while still retaining more than 80 percent capacity.

For everyday usage, vivo states that the phone can last up to 47 hours of phone calls, 28 hours of video playback, and 16 hours of GPS navigation on a full charge. These figures reinforce the device’s focus on users with demanding mobility needs.

Recharging is handled by 90W FlashCharge support. vivo also includes reverse wired charging, turning the phone into an emergency power source for other devices when needed.

New chipset and a large AMOLED display

On the performance side, the vivo Y600 Pro debuts the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e. The chipset is designed to balance power efficiency with enough performance for multitasking and routine daily use.

Visuals are handled by a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The large panel and fast refresh rate make the device more competitive in the midrange segment, especially for users who value a spacious screen and smoother animations.

The camera setup includes a 50MP main camera with OIS and a 32MP front camera. This combination gives the Y600 Pro a versatile profile for daily photography and selfies.

Protection, software, and design details

vivo also gives the phone IP68 and IP69 certification. That means the Y600 Pro is protected against dust, water immersion, and high-pressure water spray, adding a strong layer of durability for daily use.

The device runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, placing it among vivo models that already adopt the latest Android platform. A small but distinctive detail appears in the rear camera module, where the IR Blaster sensor is placed as part of the design.

The phone comes in four color options: Black, Blue, Gold, and Violet. For memory configurations, vivo offers 8/128GB at CNY 1,999 and 12/512GB at CNY 2,899.

The device is already available for preorder in China, with shipments beginning on 30 April 2026. There is still no official information about an Indonesian launch, but the combination of a 10,200mAh battery, a 120Hz AMOLED display, and competitive pricing gives the Y600 Pro clear appeal in the midrange class.
