Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Meets A 13,380mAh Battery In OnePlus Pad 4

OnePlus is pushing its premium tablet further into laptop-like territory with the Pad 4, a device built around high-end performance and long battery life. The combination of Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and a 13,380mAh battery makes its priorities clear from the start.

That positioning matters because the Pad 4 is not aiming to be only a media device. It is designed for work, entertainment, and creative tasks in a form factor that still stays relatively compact for a large-screen tablet.

A large display built for multitasking

The Pad 4 uses a 13.2-inch IPS LCD panel with a 3.4K resolution of 2400 x 3392 pixels. OnePlus also adds adaptive refresh rates up to 144Hz and Dolby Vision support to strengthen the viewing experience.

The display size gives more room for documents, apps, and split-screen use. Its high refresh rate should also make scrolling, gaming, and general navigation feel smoother.

Flagship hardware for demanding use

Under the hood, OnePlus equips the tablet with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 built on a 3nm process. The chip is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage.

That combination places the Pad 4 in the upper tier for heavy app use, light editing, and intensive multitasking. It also shows that OnePlus wants the tablet to do more than simply stream content and browse the web.

Battery life takes center stage

The most striking number on the Pad 4 may be its 13,380mAh battery. OnePlus says the tablet can handle up to 20 hours of continuous video playback.

For users who move between locations or spend long hours away from a charger, that capacity is a major advantage. In the premium tablet segment, endurance like this can be a key differentiator.

Android 16 and work-focused software

Pad 4 runs Android 16 with the latest OxygenOS. OnePlus also includes multitasking tools such as flexible windows and drag-and-drop between apps.

Those features are meant to make the larger screen more practical for daily work. Users can keep several apps open at once and move files or content between windows more easily when handling documents or presentations.

Audio, accessories, and cameras

The tablet also comes with eight speakers built into the body. That setup is intended to improve movies, gaming, and music playback.

OnePlus further supports the Pad 4 with stylus and external keyboard options. On the imaging side, the device includes a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera, with the front camera keeping video calls and online meetings in focus.

Taken together, the display, battery, accessories, and flagship-class hardware give the OnePlus Pad 4 a clear identity. It is positioned as a versatile tablet that tries to bridge productivity and entertainment in one device.
