Honor Play 11 Plus takes a practical approach to long battery life without turning into a bulky phone. Its 7,000mAh battery sits inside a body that is about 7.34 mm thick and weighs around 185 grams, a combination that keeps the device relatively slim for everyday use.
That balance is the main reason the phone stands out in the mid-range segment. While many phones still force a trade-off between endurance and size, Honor has packaged a large battery in a design that remains comfortable to hold.
Large battery, faster charging, and reverse power sharing
Battery life is the headline feature here, but Honor also adds wired fast charging to shorten refill times. The phone further supports reverse charging, so it can be used to top up other devices when needed.
That makes the Honor Play 11 Plus more than just a long-running handset. It also works as a practical backup power source for accessories or another phone in a pinch.
Display built for smooth everyday use
On the front, the device uses a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with a 2600×1200 resolution. Honor pairs that panel with DCI-P3 color coverage and a 120Hz refresh rate, giving the screen a sharper look and smoother motion during scrolling and general navigation.
The panel is also rated at a claimed 6500 nits of brightness. To help with comfort during extended use, Honor includes 3840Hz PWM dimming, while the display is protected by aluminosilicate glass against minor scratches and daily wear.

Inside, the Honor Play 11 Plus runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6500 Elite. The configuration includes 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, which should be sufficient for multitasking and routine mobile use.
The phone ships with MagicOS 10 based on Android 16. Honor also adds AI-related tools such as the YOYO smart assistant, AI Notes for automated note-taking, and a translation tool for cross-language communication, while system optimization is said to help maintain efficient performance.

For imaging, the handset carries a 50-megapixel main camera with an f/1.8 aperture. The front camera uses an 8-megapixel sensor, and video recording support goes up to 1080p.
Honor also equips the phone with an in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, and an IP66 rating. The certification signals protection against dust and splashes, while the stereo setup aims to deliver a more immersive audio experience.

Honor Play 11 Plus is offered in a single 8GB/256GB version priced at 2,199 Yuan. Color choices include Sunrise Gold and Lanyue Silver, with the latter also known as Moon Embracing Silver in some markets.
The device is already on sale in China. Some reports also point to a close resemblance with the Honor X80i, which has led to speculation that the new model may be a rebranded version with a few adjustments.
