Right Law Group has announced that criminal defense attorney Zoe Levesque has been named a 2026 Leading Young Lawyer by Law Week Colorado. The recognition places her among six attorneys selected statewide and highlights early-career lawyers who show professional excellence, leadership, and commitment to service.
Levesque’s recognition reflects a background that combines prosecution experience with criminal defense work. Before joining Right Law Group, she spent two years as a deputy district attorney at the Denver District Attorney’s Office, where she handled more than 200 cases and took 18 jury trials to court.
Experience shaped by both sides of the courtroom
Her time as a prosecutor also included service as interim lead of the office’s restorative justice diversion programs. That work now informs how she approaches defense strategy for clients facing criminal allegations.
Levesque has said that understanding how a case is built can also reveal where it may fail. In her Law Week Colorado profile, she noted, “If you know how a case is prosecuted, you know where the weaknesses are,” adding that the perspective is valuable in criminal defense.
At Right Law Group, she handles a wide range of matters, including major traffic offenses, DUIs, misdemeanors, and serious felony charges. The firm said her work has helped expand its presence in Denver and Adams counties in less than two years.
Recognition tied to professional impact
Law Week Colorado’s Leading Young Lawyers Award is based on peer nominations and review of professional contributions and service. The honor is meant for attorneys who are making a meaningful impact early in their careers.
Jimmy Litle, C.O.O. and managing attorney at Right Law Group, said Levesque brings strong preparation and principle to her work. He said the recognition reflects what the firm sees in her daily practice, describing her as an attorney who treats criminal allegations seriously and fights for clients.
Right Law Group is a Colorado criminal defense and DUI law firm with offices in Colorado Springs, Castle Rock, Denver, and Highlands Ranch. The firm says its attorneys include former prosecutors and draw on more than 45 years of combined legal experience across several Colorado counties.
The firm also says it remains available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, while Levesque’s latest recognition adds another public marker to a career built on trial experience, prosecutorial insight, and defense work across Colorado.
