Hisense is aiming at two very different types of gamers with one 27-inch monitor. The G7 Pro can switch between 4K at 180Hz and Full HD at 360Hz, giving users a choice between sharper visuals and extreme speed on the same display.
That dual-mode approach is what makes the monitor stand out. One setting favors image detail and a more premium-looking presentation, while the other is tuned for competitive play where motion smoothness and fast response matter most.
Two modes, two priorities
In its high-resolution mode, the G7 Pro runs at 3840 x 2160 pixels with a 180Hz refresh rate. When performance takes priority, it can be switched to 1920 x 1080 with a 360Hz refresh rate.
This makes the monitor feel like two products in one chassis. The 4K 180Hz mode is aimed at games with rich visuals, while the 1080p 360Hz mode is more suitable for titles where speed is the main concern.
Panel, backlight, and response tuning
Hisense pairs the display with a Fast IPS panel and Mini LED backlighting. The monitor uses 1,152 Mini LED zones, reflecting a clear focus on more precise light control and stronger image quality.
To keep motion handling fast, the company lists a 1ms gray-to-gray response time with overdrive enabled. AMD FreeSync Premium support is also included to help reduce screen tearing during gameplay.
HDR performance and motion clarity
The G7 Pro carries VESA DisplayHDR 1400 certification. Hisense says the monitor can reach peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits, which puts emphasis on HDR performance as much as refresh rate.
Black Frame Insertion, or BFI, is also part of the package. Hisense adds standard gaming overlays such as a virtual crosshair, a timer, and a feature that improves the visibility of dark areas.
Screen treatment and color coverage
Hisense uses what it calls Obsidian screen technology to reduce reflections. The glossy anti-reflective finish combines a dual low-reflection layer with a viewing compensation layer, and the company claims it can lower panel reflectivity to 1.8%.
The panel also uses a quantum dot enhancement layer. It supports 10-bit color through 8-bit + FRC and covers 99% of DCI-P3, 99% of sRGB, and 99% of Adobe RGB.
Ports and desk flexibility
Connectivity is broad, with two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The monitor also includes a built-in KVM switch, supported by two USB-A ports, one USB-B upstream port, and one full-function USB-C port.
That USB-C connection can deliver up to 90W of power. For users who want to reduce cable clutter, this makes the monitor more useful as a hub for both gaming and laptop use.
Design, stand, and launch pricing
The G7 Pro sits on a hexagonal stand that supports height adjustment, tilt, swivel, and 90-degree pivot. It also supports 75 x 75 mm VESA mounting, and buyers can choose between Moon Shadow Gray and Glacier White.
Hisense has opened pre-orders in China through JD.com. The standard price is 2,999 yuan, with a launch price of 2,699 yuan.
