RingConn Gen 3 Brings Haptic Alerts and Nighttime Blood Pressure Trends Without a Subscription

A smart ring does not usually try to alert the wearer physically. RingConn Gen 3 changes that pattern by placing an internal haptic motor inside a thin titanium body, so the ring can vibrate when stress rises, battery levels drop, or the wearer sits still for too long.

That same device also tracks vascular health trends during sleep without a subscription fee. Priced at $349, or around Rp5.3 million, with an early order price of $314 or around Rp4.8 million, it is positioned as a premium wearable that avoids recurring monthly costs.

A slim ring built for daily wear

RingConn Gen 3 keeps the minimalist shape common to modern smart rings. Its body uses high-grade titanium, while the inner layer is made from medical-grade epoxy resin to improve comfort, including for sensitive skin.

The ring is compact at 2.3 mm thick. Its weight ranges from 2.5 to 3.5 grams depending on size, and its 10ATM water resistance means it can be worn while swimming, showering, or snorkeling.

Core sensors and the role of vibration

The health tracking system relies on three main sensors: an optical heart rate sensor, a temperature sensor, and a 3-axis accelerometer. Heart rate data supports real-time monitoring, temperature sensing helps read core body temperature, and the accelerometer tracks movement and sleep patterns.

The haptic motor is the feature that sets the ring apart. Integrating vibration into a small ring is difficult because it can affect comfort and battery life, yet RingConn includes it directly inside the body.

The ring uses that vibration to deliver alerts without waiting for a phone notification. It can vibrate when stress levels rise based on HRV, when the battery is low, or when the user has been inactive for too long.

Sleep-based vascular health tracking

One of the most notable features is Vascular Health Insights. It automatically monitors blood pressure trends during sleep, but it is not presented as a medical diagnostic tool.

RingConn combines heart rate, HRV, and body temperature data to build a longer-term picture of vascular health. That approach is designed to help users see how diet, exercise, and daily stress may affect cardiovascular condition over time.

The same trend data may also be useful for people who want earlier awareness of hypertension risk. Rather than focusing on a single reading, the system highlights change across time.

More than one health use case

RingConn Gen 3 also extends its sleep tracking into breathing analysis. It can review breathing patterns and SpO₂ levels during sleep to identify possible signs of sleep apnea, such as heavy snoring or brief pauses in breathing.

When the data looks concerning, the ring can recommend considering medical consultation. It also offers menstrual cycle prediction, ovulation tracking, and fertile window estimates based on basal temperature and HRV.

Battery life and offline storage

Despite the added vibration hardware, battery life remains a major part of the package. With vibration turned off, the ring lasts 11–14 days, while vibration active brings that range to 10–12 days.

The device ships with a wireless charging case. RingConn says the case can keep the ring powered for up to 150 days in standby mode, and a full charge takes 90 minutes.

The ring works with both iOS and Android. It also connects with Apple Health and Google Health Connect for easier synchronization of health data.

If the phone is not nearby, the ring can store data locally for up to 10 days. Once it reconnects, the information syncs automatically without losing sleep or activity history.

Positioned against a crowded market

RingConn Gen 3 enters a crowded smart ring market with a clear focus on privacy, comfort, and preventive health tracking. Its appeal also comes from the absence of a subscription model, which separates it from many health wearables that charge recurring fees.

It arrives alongside Rogbid SR15, another ring that offers vibration and health tracking. Even so, RingConn Gen 3 stands out through its vascular algorithms, lighter and thinner build, Apple and Google ecosystem support, and pricing that avoids monthly costs.
