Oppo’s Find X10 Pro Max Tests Dual 200MP Cameras, 2Nm Chip Could Redefine Flagship Rivalry

The most striking part of the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max rumor is not the main camera at all. Instead, the leak points to an unusually ambitious rear setup built around two 200MP cameras, a configuration that could push the device into a very aggressive position among premium Android flagships.

That detail matters because Oppo has not even confirmed the Find X10 series yet, while the current Find X9 lineup has only just expanded with the Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s. Still, early test information is already circulating, and it suggests the Pro Max model is being shaped as the most serious camera-focused phone in the range.

A rare dual-200MP approach

According to tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, Oppo is testing a phone with a 200MP main camera using a large 1/1.3-inch sensor. The same leak says the second major camera is a 200MP periscope telephoto unit, backed by a 1/1.28-inch sensor.

That combination would make Oppo’s approach stand out immediately in the flagship category. Rather than relying only on a high-resolution main sensor, the company appears to be putting equal weight on zoom performance and long-range photography.

The information also lines up with earlier comments from the same tipster, who previously said Oppo planned to use a new Samsung HPC sensor for its next-generation flagship.

Ultra-wide remains under evaluation

The rear camera system is still not settled, and Oppo is reportedly testing more than one ultra-wide option. One prototype is said to include a 200MP ultra-wide camera with a 1/1.56-inch sensor.

Another test unit is described as using a 50MP ultra-wide camera with a 1/2.75-inch sensor. That means the final rear setup could end up as 200MP + 200MP + 200MP, or 200MP + 200MP + 50MP.

A 3MP multispectral sensor is also mentioned as a possible supporting component. Even so, there is no confirmation yet on which combination will make it to the finished product.

Large LTPO displays are also being tested

The display side is also in flux, with two different LTPO panels reportedly under evaluation. One prototype is said to use a flat 6.89-inch LTPO screen with 2K resolution.

The other option is a slightly smaller 6.78-inch LTPO panel with 1.5K resolution. Oppo appears to be weighing sharpness, power consumption, and product positioning before finalizing the panel.

Both panels use LTPO technology, which is typically associated with adaptive refresh rates and high-end smartphones.

Next MediaTek flagship chip with 2nm manufacturing

Beyond the camera and display hardware, the Find X10 Pro Max leak also points to a next-generation MediaTek flagship chipset. The chip is said to be built on a 2nm process.

Previous chatter suggests this platform could be the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro. If that turns out to be correct, Oppo may be among the first brands to adopt MediaTek’s newest premium platform.

That would further reinforce the Pro Max model’s role at the top of the lineup, especially alongside the unusually advanced imaging hardware.

Find X10 series still unconfirmed

Oppo has not officially announced the Find X10 family. Even so, the series is rumored to include three models: Find X10, Find X10 Pro, and Find X10 Pro Max.

At this stage, the Pro Max clearly appears to be the most premium version in the group. The combination of very high-resolution cameras, a large LTPO display, and an unreleased flagship chipset points to a device being developed for the upper end of the market.

For now, all of these details remain part of the rumor cycle and internal testing. Some reports suggest the Find X10 series could debut in China around October, but the final specifications may still change before any official announcement.
