North Las Vegas police are asking the public to help find 75-year-old Raul Soriano after he was reported missing from his home near West Lake Mead Boulevard and Simmons Street. Officers said he was last seen around 3 a.m. on Wednesday after walking away in an unknown direction to go to the store and not returning.
Police said Soriano may need medical attention, and they want anyone who sees him or knows where he is to call right away. The North Las Vegas Police Department said the case is urgent because Soriano has diabetes and was last seen without his dentures.
What police said about Soriano
Authorities described Soriano as Asian, about 5 feet 5 inches tall, and around 130 pounds. He has short white hair and brown eyes, and he was last seen wearing a T-shirt, black pants, and a black hat.
Police also said he walks slowly with a noticeable limp. That detail could help residents and businesses in the area identify him if they spot someone matching his description.
Why officers are concerned
The police bulletin noted that Soriano was not wearing his dentures and had no teeth. Combined with his diabetes and the possibility that he may be disoriented, officers believe he could need immediate help if located.
The search has prompted officials to ask neighbors, drivers, and nearby store employees to stay alert in the area around West Lake Mead Boulevard. Even small details, such as a sighting near a walkway, parking lot, or bus stop, could help investigators trace his movements.
Anyone with information about Soriano’s whereabouts is urged to contact the North Las Vegas Police Department immediately at 702-633-9111.
