Ginnastica Sorrento Closes Its Season with Two Nights That Put Talent on Full Display

Ginnastica Sorrento ended its sports season with two evening performances at the Teatro Tasso, turning the closing show into a showcase for every age group in the club. The 31st annual recital featured many of Pia Cuomo’s athletes, including the youngest gymnasts aged 4.

The opening night was led by Charlene Siviero, the home athlete and national vice-champion on the ribbon. On the second night, the spotlight went first to the team gymnasts fresh from their participation in the Italian championship.

A program built on technique and performance

The show combined technical routines and artistic choreography, underlining the work carried out by the club’s broader staff. That team includes federation coaches, physical trainers and choreographers, a structure that helped keep both evenings smooth and engaging.

Music, dance and stage atmosphere

The program moved through southern Italian music, Disney stories and the atmosphere of iconic musicals such as Cats and Romeo and Juliet. The performance also included live singing by former gymnast Claudia Rispoli, adding another layer to the evening’s stage presentation.

Looking beyond the year-end celebration, Ginnastica Sorrento will continue its activity with summer courses at Palatigliana during July and August. Those sessions will include rhythmic gymnastics, classical dance, hip hop and Latin dance, and they will also be open to outside gymnasts.
