Skybound and Image Comics Celebrate "Invincible Month" in March
Skybound and Image Comics have announced a special event called "Invincible Month," dedicated to the celebrated superhero comic series Invincible. Throughout March, fans will see new releases, reprints of popular issues, and new collected editions. The event coincides with the debut of season 4 of the hit animated Invincible series on Prime Video, offering an immersive experience of the comic universe that started it all.
"Invincible Month" offers a curated selection of comic issues designed for longtime readers and new fans alike. Highlights include the Invincible #1 Foil Edition, reprinting the groundbreaking first issue featuring the debut of Invincible and Omni-Man. Additionally, Marvel Team-Up #14, showcasing Invincible’s iconic team-up with Spider-Man, will drop on March 4 and is highly anticipated. This issue includes variant covers by legendary artists such as Todd McFarlane and Mark Bagley.
Other key releases include:
- Invincible Vol. 14 (New Edition) – Collecting issues #79-84 with a fresh cover by Cory Walker and Dave McCaig, available March 4.
- Invincible Universe: Battle Beast #7 – Launching a new story arc with a main cover by Ryan Ottley, arriving March 18.
- Invincible Returns #1 Facsimile Edition – Featuring the first appearance of Thragg, coinciding with the new season’s villain, out March 25.
- Capes #5 – A remastered edition with updated art and dialogue from the original creative team, also arriving March 25.
Robert Kirkman, co-creator of Invincible, expressed his excitement about the event, stating, “I can’t believe Invincible has grown to the point where it gets its own month!” He highlighted how this celebration complements the series’ expanding presence, especially alongside the animated show.
To cap the festivities, a comprehensive Invincible Omnibus Vol. 1 hardcover will be released on April 1. This edition collects issues #0-47, including Marvel Team-Up #14, for the first time, offering an essential addition for collectors and fans.
