Xiaomi has brought the REDMI Watch 6 to Indonesia with a clear focus on younger users who want a smartwatch that can keep pace with daily routines, workouts, and health tracking. The device combines a large AMOLED display, long battery life, and a set of practical controls that make it easy to use on the move.
The launch also reflects Xiaomi Indonesia’s view that exercise has become part of young people’s lifestyle without replacing the need for balance in everyday life. Marketing Director Xiaomi Indonesia, Andi Renreng, said young users want to stay active while still maintaining their health and routines.
Large display for everyday use
One of the most visible highlights of the REDMI Watch 6 is its 2.07-inch AMOLED screen. Xiaomi pairs it with an ultra-thin 2 mm bezel, a 60Hz refresh rate, and brightness of up to 2,000 nits.
That combination is meant to keep information easy to read in different lighting conditions. Notifications, workout data, and health readings should also feel more comfortable to view thanks to the larger panel.
Built for faster interaction
Xiaomi also adds a new physical button to improve day-to-day navigation. A single press opens the control center, a long press can be used to restart the device, and three presses can call an emergency contact.
This gives the watch a mix of touchscreen and physical controls. For users who want a wearable that feels quick to access and responsive when needed, that approach may be a practical advantage.
Sports and location tracking
For fitness use, the REDMI Watch 6 supports more than 150 sports modes. Xiaomi also equips it with a dual L1 antenna and a GNSS chip to improve location accuracy during outdoor activities.
The smartwatch carries a 5 ATM water resistance rating, which allows use at depths of up to 50 meters. That makes it suitable for users who want a tougher device for active routines.
Health monitoring features
On the health side, Xiaomi includes all-day heart rate monitoring, all-day blood oxygen tracking, and sleep monitoring. The watch also uses a newer PPG sensor that is claimed to improve heart rate monitoring during exercise.
These features position the REDMI Watch 6 as more than a style accessory. It is designed to help users keep track of their condition while managing daily activities in a more convenient way.
Slim body, color choices, and battery life
The watch itself comes in a slim 9.9 mm body with an aluminum alloy frame. Xiaomi offers it in Silver Gray, Obsidian Black, and Glacier Blue.
Battery life is another major selling point. Xiaomi says the REDMI Watch 6 can last up to 24 days under normal use, reducing how often users need to charge it.
In Indonesia, the REDMI Watch 6 is priced at Rp1.499.000 and will be available from 25 May 2026 to 30 June 2026. Xiaomi also offers a special price of Rp1.399.000 for buyers who purchase it together with the Xiaomi 17 Series.
At the same time, Xiaomi Indonesia has also announced the REDMI Pad 2 9.7 for Indonesia, with a launch scheduled for 2 June 2026. The compact tablet carries a “Simply Smart, Simply Fun” concept and uses a 9.7-inch display for learning, work, and entertainment.
