iQOO 15T Takes a Different Route, Gaming Chip Q3 and 8,000 mAh Battery Stand Out

iQOO 15T arrives with a clear message: this is a flagship built first for stable gaming performance, not just for benchmark numbers. Positioned between iQOO 15R and iQOO 15, the model takes a route that feels more focused than flashy.

The most notable move is its choice of chipset. Instead of relying on Qualcomm’s latest platform, iQOO uses the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Monster Edition, a version designed to keep frame rates steady during long gaming sessions.

Performance built for consistency

That approach is reinforced by iQOO’s in-house Q3 gaming chip, which has already appeared in the iQOO 15 and iQOO 15 Ultra. Together, the Dimensity 9500 Monster Edition and Q3 chip form the core of the phone’s performance identity.

iQOO also equips the device with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.1 storage. The combination points to fast loading, strong multitasking, and the kind of headroom expected from a modern flagship.

Display tuned for games and media

On the front, the phone uses a 6.82-inch 8T LTPO AMOLED panel with 2K resolution. The screen is also rated for a 144Hz refresh rate, which should make scrolling and gameplay feel noticeably smoother.

Another headline number is the 4,500 nits peak brightness. That level is aimed at keeping the display usable even under strong sunlight, while preserving the sharpness expected from a high-resolution panel.

Cameras still receive serious attention

Although the focus is gaming, the camera setup is far from basic. The main camera is a 200 MP unit with OIS, while the rear ultrawide camera comes in at 50 MP and includes autofocus.

Those specifications suggest that iQOO 15T is not trying to win users with performance alone. It also brings a camera package that remains credible for a flagship device.

Large battery and fast charging

Battery life is another major selling point. iQOO 15T carries an 8,000 mAh battery, a capacity that should suit users who spend long hours gaming or multitasking.

To support that large cell, the phone offers 100W fast charging. The pairing of big capacity and high-speed charging is one of the most practical parts of the package.

The device runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 and carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. It is also priced in China starting at CNY3,799, which is roughly Rp9.8 million.

There is still no confirmation of a global release, including for Indonesia. Even so, the combination of a gaming-focused chipset, a 144Hz display, a 200 MP main camera, and a massive 8,000 mAh battery makes iQOO 15T one of the more distinctive flagship entries aimed at performance-minded users.
