Jimny 2026 Looks More Premium, and Its European Touch Is Turning Heads

Suzuki Jimny 2026 arrives with a sharper identity than a typical compact off-road SUV. The latest update gives the model a more premium presence, while keeping the rugged character that has long defined its appeal.

The change is significant because Jimny is no longer positioned only as a trail-ready machine. PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales now presents it as a compact SUV that also feels more suitable for urban use.

A classic shape, lifted by more refined details

The familiar boxy body remains intact, preserving the Jimny signature that takes cues from the LJ Series and SJ Series. That familiar silhouette still carries the same tough and compact proportions that made the model recognizable in the first place.

What changes most is the execution. The front end now uses round LED projector headlamps with Auto Leveling and circular DRLs, creating a more modern look without losing the model’s heritage.

A vertical grille and a textured black bumper strengthen the off-road stance. Suzuki also designed the bumper to help approach angle performance, keeping the vehicle prepared for obstacles off the pavement.

The cabin moves toward a cleaner and more modern feel

The biggest upgrade appears inside the cabin, where Suzuki has replaced a more rigid interior mood with a layout that feels more refined and ergonomic. The result is a space that looks easier to live with in daily driving.

A 9-inch touchscreen head unit sits at the center of the dashboard and supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. That setup makes entertainment and navigation functions more practical for everyday use.

Comfort features also receive attention through Digital Auto Climate AC. The leather-wrapped steering wheel adds a premium touch and includes audio controls and Cruise Control for longer trips.

Still built to work hard off road

Under the hood, the Jimny 2026 continues to use the 1,500 cc K15B four-cylinder engine. Suzuki positions the unit as durable, capable, and efficient in fuel consumption.

Power is sent to the ALLGRIP PRO 4WD system, confirming that the model remains serious about rough terrain. This mechanical setup keeps the Jimny’s off-road reputation firmly in place.

Safety equipment is broad for its class

Suzuki includes a solid set of active safety features for the segment. The Jimny 2026 comes with Dual SRS Airbags, Hill Hold Control, Hill Descent Control, Electronic Stability Programme, ABS, and EBD.

Hill Hold Control helps prevent rollback on inclines, while Hill Descent Control keeps the vehicle stable on steep downhill sections. Those features add confidence in situations where road grip is limited.

Pricing in Jakarta

With its history, added refinement, and premium positioning, the Jimny 2026 is priced as an exclusive SUV. In Jakarta, the On The Road price is Rp450.000.000 for the Single Tone version and Rp453.000.000 for the Two Tone version.

That pricing underlines Suzuki’s strategy: keep the Jimny tough, but make it look and feel far more modern. For buyers who want a distinctive SUV with a premium edge, the formula is likely to remain compelling.
