OPPO is positioning the Find X9s as the most compact member of the Find X9 family, but the smaller body does not come with the usual trade-offs many buyers expect. The phone still carries a 120Hz AMOLED display, a triple 50MP rear camera setup, a large battery, and a fast chipset aimed at flagship-level performance.
That combination makes the Find X9s stand out in the crowded compact flagship category. It is designed for users who want serious hardware in a device that is easier to handle, while keeping the price below the rest of the lineup.
A compact screen with flagship-class brightness
The display measures 6.59 inches and uses an AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Its 1216 x 2640 pixel resolution should keep content sharp, while 10-bit color support adds more depth to the viewing experience.
OPPO also rates the panel at up to 3000 nits of peak brightness, which should help with outdoor visibility. Protection comes from Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, placing it slightly below other models in the Find X9 series, but still offering solid everyday durability.
Three 50MP cameras across the back
Camera hardware is one of the strongest points of the Find X9s. The rear setup includes a 50MP main camera with OIS and an f/1.8 aperture, a 50MP telephoto camera with OIS and an f/2.6 aperture, and a 50MP ultrawide camera with an f/2.0 aperture.
The telephoto lens supports 3x optical zoom, while hybrid zoom can reportedly reach up to 120x. On the front, the phone uses a 32MP selfie camera with an f/2.4 aperture and a 90-degree field of view, and all of its cameras can record video at up to 4K.
Big battery, still in a smaller chassis
The battery is another headline feature, with OPPO fitting a 7025 mAh cell into the device. Silicon carbon battery technology helps keep the pack dense enough for a compact design without sacrificing capacity.
OPPO says the battery can last up to 5 hours 51 minutes of 4K 60 FPS video recording or up to 36 hours 18 minutes of video playback. Charging is handled by 80W SuperVOOC, which should make top-ups much faster than on many phones in this size class.
Dimensity power for heavy apps and games
Under the hood, the Find X9s runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s. It sits below the Dimensity 9500 and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 used in other Find X9 models, but it remains a high-end chipset.
According to NanoReview, the chip uses a Mali-G925 Immortalis MP12 GPU, clocks up to 3.7 GHz, and reaches around 3 million on AnTuTu v11. Its CPU layout includes one Cortex-X925 core, three Cortex-X4 cores, and four Cortex-A720 cores.
In practical use, that should be enough for demanding games and 4K video rendering. For buyers who want a premium phone that is easier to carry, the Find X9s offers a strong balance of size and speed.
The lowest entry price in the Find X9 lineup
Pricing is where the Find X9s becomes even more attractive, because it is the cheapest model in the family. The 12/256GB version is priced at Rp14,9 jutaan, while the 16/512GB model costs around Rp16,9 jutaan.
That puts it about Rp1 jutaan below the regular Find X9, roughly Rp5 jutaan below the Find X9 Pro, and as much as Rp9 jutaan under the Find X9 Ultra. For a compact flagship with a large battery and triple 50MP cameras, that gap is significant.
OPPO Find X9s shows a clear direction for the company’s upper-end lineup. It combines a premium AMOLED display, a high-capacity battery, fast charging, strong imaging hardware, and still keeps the body more manageable than many rivals in the same class.
