Acemagic’s New Mini PC Brings Wildcat Lake and Three 4K Displays for Less

Acemagic has added a new contender to the budget mini PC market with the Kron K5, a compact system built around Intel Core 5 320 from the Wildcat Lake platform. The machine is aimed at users who want a small desktop that still feels practical for everyday work.

What makes the Kron K5 stand out is the way Acemagic packages its hardware. The company pairs the new Intel chip with 16GB of memory, a bundled SSD, and support for three 4K displays, which is a notable set of features for a device positioned as affordable.

Core 5 320 and Wildcat Lake at the center

The Kron K5 uses Intel Core 5 320, a mid-range processor with six cores. It also includes Xe3 graphics with two cores, while the cooling setup is said to allow the CPU to run at 25W.

That combination suggests a mini PC built for more than simple light browsing. Acemagic appears to be targeting office tasks, media playback, and light multitasking without pushing the system into a higher price bracket.

Memory and storage come ready to use

Acemagic equips the Kron K5 with 16GB of LPDDR5 memory running at 6,400MT/s. For storage, the mini PC ships with a 512GB PCIe 3.0 SSD.

The chassis also includes two M.2 slots that support PCIe 4.0 x2 SSDs, giving users room to expand later. Acemagic further says the enclosure allows tool-free access, which should make upgrades easier.

Ports make it more desk-friendly than its size suggests

Despite its compact frame, the Kron K5 offers a dense set of physical connections. The port list includes four USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port with PD and DP 1.4 support, one 3.5 mm audio jack, and one 2.5G LAN port.

Wireless connectivity is covered by WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. With that mix, the system is designed to work like a small desktop that can sit on a workbench or office desk without many compromises.

A practical pitch, but pricing is still missing

Acemagic is also leaning on the Kron K5’s slim design and three 4K display output support as part of its appeal. For users who want multiple monitors from a machine that does not take up much space, that feature set could be the main draw.

Even so, the company has not disclosed a final price or exact availability. Acemagic only says the Kron K5 will remain affordable and should go on sale soon, leaving its market position centered on value rather than premium ambition.
