Infinix Hot 70’s Higher Price Comes With a Camera and Battery That Still Stand Out

Infinix Hot 70 is getting more expensive, but the model has not lost the features that made it appealing in the first place. For buyers in the Rp 2 million range, the combination of a 50 MP camera, a 6,000 mAh battery, and 45W fast charging still carries weight.

According to a review from the GadgetIn YouTube channel, the 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant is priced at around Rp 2.2 million. Higher-RAM versions have reportedly seen a significant price jump, which changes the device’s value proposition compared with the previous generation.

Where the Hot 70 Still Feels Strong

The camera system remains one of the phone’s most convincing selling points. Infinix Hot 70 uses a 50 MP main camera that delivers results considered impressive for its class.

GadgetIn noted that the photos show vivid colors while keeping detail well preserved. Night shots were also described as satisfying, with images staying relatively clean and not easily blurred by hand shake.

For selfies and casual video use, the front camera supports 1080p video at 30 fps. That keeps the phone relevant for everyday use, especially for users who rely on the front camera for social and messaging apps.

Battery life is another area where the device remains hard to dismiss. The 6,000 mAh battery, paired with 45W fast charging, fits the needs of users who spend long hours away from a charger.

The phone also continues the Hot series formula of offering appealing specifications at a relatively affordable price. Even with the recent price increase, the base configuration still looks like the most attractive entry point in the lineup.

Performance for Daily Use

Under the hood, Infinix Hot 70 runs on the MediaTek Helio G100. It is paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS storage, which helps keep the phone responsive in its segment.

In a recent AnTuTu benchmark run, the device scored around 584,000 points. That result places it in a range that remains suitable for everyday tasks and light competitive gaming.

Mobile Legends performance was described as fairly solid, with frame rates reaching 90 fps at times and occasionally dropping to around 70 fps. The experience changes on heavier titles such as Genshin Impact, where average frame rates sit around 25 to 30 fps.

Memory options are also flexible, with RAM variants of 4 GB, 6 GB, and 8 GB, plus storage options up to 256 GB. Infinix also provides a dedicated microSD slot through a triple-slot layout, which is still useful for users who want extra storage without sacrificing SIM capacity.

Design, Display, and Extra Features

The design aims for a more youthful look, and the reviewed unit came in Quiet Violet with a smooth finish called Baby Smooth Finish. The back uses polycarbonate, but the texture and finishing help it feel more premium in hand.

The rear camera module stretches vertically and includes a transparent accent on the camera cover. That detail gives the phone a more polished appearance and supports its style-focused positioning.

Color choices are broad enough to reinforce that idea. Infinix appears to be targeting users who want a phone that looks good as well as performs adequately.

The display offers mixed results. Infinix Hot 70 uses a 6.78-inch panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and Always On Display support.

At the same time, the resolution remains HD+ at 720p, and GadgetIn said brightness is not yet ideal for outdoor use. Color reproduction, however, was still considered decent for the price class.

Software Support and Final Position

Beyond the core hardware, the phone includes a physical gyroscope and NFC, both of which add practical value for certain users. It also carries an IP65 rating, which strengthens the overall feature set.

Infinix Hot 70 runs Android 16 with XOS 16, and the company promises up to three generations of Android upgrades along with five years of security updates. That long support window makes the phone more competitive than the price increase alone might suggest.

The higher price does reduce some of the appeal seen in earlier generations, especially for larger-memory variants that move closer to Rp 3 million. Still, for buyers who prioritize camera quality, a large battery, premium-feeling design, and dependable daily performance, the 4 GB/128 GB version remains the most compelling option.
