Kymco is preparing the CV-X45 for the fast-growing adventure scooter segment, where practicality alone is no longer enough to win buyers. The model is being positioned as a direct challenge to the Honda X-ADV through a mix of rugged styling, modern technology, and broader riding capability than a conventional scooter.

The appeal of this category has expanded as riders look for a vehicle that can handle daily commuting and longer trips with greater confidence. Kymco is clearly targeting that shift by offering a scooter that keeps everyday usability while adopting a stronger adventure identity.

A more rugged scooter with touring intent
