HONOR X5c Plus Challenges The Budget Crowd With 5,260mAh Battery And 50MP Camera

HONOR X5c Plus has entered Indonesia at Rp2.299.000, and its strongest appeal is clear: a large 5,260mAh battery paired with a 50MP main camera. In the crowded entry-level segment, that combination is aimed at buyers who want practical daily performance without pushing into a higher price tier.

The device is positioned for everyday use such as online learning, streaming, digital communication, and casual tasks. HONOR is also leaning on battery longevity, with a claim that the battery can retain more than 80 percent of its health after 1,000 charging cycles.

Battery and imaging take the lead

The battery capacity is one of the phone’s most important selling points because it is designed to last through a full day of normal use. That makes it more relevant for users who value endurance over premium extras.

On the camera side, the 50MP rear sensor comes with AI support to help produce sharper and more detailed photos in different lighting conditions. For selfies and video calls, the phone uses a 5MP front camera.

HONOR also adds AI-based tools such as Object Recognition and Photo Sharpness Enhancement. These features are intended to identify objects automatically and improve image clarity, including when capturing documents.

Large screen, light build

The display measures 6.74 inches and offers brightness of up to 450 nits, which is meant to support use both indoors and outdoors. HONOR has also included Dynamic Dimming to help reduce eye strain during extended screen time.

In terms of design, the X5c Plus uses a minimalist body with symmetrical lines and rounded corners. The phone measures 7.89 mm thick and weighs around 186 grams, a combination that keeps it relatively easy to hold and carry.

Basic performance with ample storage

For processing, HONOR uses the MediaTek Helio G81 chipset, matched with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. This setup is aimed at smooth everyday use, including social media, communication, and light multitasking.

The 128GB storage capacity gives users more room for photos, videos, and documents. In practice, the phone is trying to balance affordability with enough headroom for daily files and routine app use.

Software and security

MagicOS 9.0 runs the software side of the device and is described as offering a simple and responsive interface. HONOR also includes Magic Capsule, which is designed to make important notifications easier to check without moving through too many menus.

For security, the phone supports Side Fingerprint Unlock and Face Unlock. Both options provide quick access for users who want a more convenient way to enter the device during daily use.

Price and availability

HONOR X5c Plus went on sale in Indonesia on 15 June 2025. It comes in two color options, Ocean Cyan and Midnight Black.

At Rp2.299.000, the device enters a highly competitive category, but its 5,260mAh battery, 50MP camera, 6.74-inch display, and 128GB storage make it a notable option for buyers seeking an affordable new phone with practical strengths.
