AOC has added another aggressive contender to the gaming monitor race with the Agon PRO AGP277QKDC. The 26.5-inch model pairs a Tandem WOLED fourth-generation panel with a spec sheet aimed squarely at players who prioritize speed, responsiveness, and visual clarity.
What immediately sets it apart is the way AOC splits its performance profile between two modes. At 2560×1440, the monitor reaches 540Hz, while HD mode pushes the refresh rate up to 720Hz.
Built for extreme response times
The panel is rated at 0.03ms GtG, and AOC lists a static contrast ratio of 1.5 million to 1. Those figures place the AGP277QKDC firmly in the premium gaming segment, where motion handling and image separation matter as much as raw refresh rate.
Adaptive-Sync support is included, along with Nvidia G-Sync compatibility. AOC also claims true 10-bit color support with 1.07 billion colors, plus wide gamut coverage that reaches 99.5% DCI-P3, 150.9% sRGB, and 95.9% Adobe RGB.
Brightness tuned for OLED’s premium tier
The panel is said to peak at 1,500 nits at 1.5% APL, while full-screen SDR brightness is listed at 335 nits. That combination suggests a display that is meant to preserve the OLED contrast advantage while still delivering strong highlight performance.
For buyers looking at high-end OLED gaming displays, those numbers help position the AGP277QKDC as more than just a high-refresh panel. It is also being presented as a display with enough brightness and color depth to serve demanding visual workloads.
Connectivity aimed at modern PC setups
AOC equips the monitor with a DisplayPort 2.1 port using UHBR20 bandwidth, two HDMI 2.1 ports, and one USB-C 3.2 port with DisplayPort Alt Mode, upstream data, and up to 65W power delivery.
The feature set also includes a built-in USB hub, KVM switch support, PiP/PbP, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a pair of 5W speakers. That mix makes the monitor easier to fit into setups that switch between multiple devices.
Stand flexibility and release timing
The included stand offers up to 150mm of height adjustment, plus tilt, swivel, and pivot support. Users who prefer a different layout can also mount it via VESA 100×100.
AOC plans to launch the Agon PRO AGP277QKDC in September at a reported price of €699, or about $800. Availability for the United States has not yet been announced, leaving the initial rollout details tied to other markets for now.
With its 720Hz mode, Tandem WOLED panel, and unusually complete connectivity, the AGP277QKDC shows how far the premium gaming monitor category continues to move. AOC is clearly aiming at users who want extreme speed without giving up the broader feature set expected from a flagship display.
