Nothing Phone 4b is drawing attention again ahead of its July 7 launch, with new leaks filling in some of the most important missing details. The latest information suggests that the device is headed for the mid-range segment rather than trying to compete as a flagship.
The reported specifications lean toward a balanced everyday phone, but the design appears to be where Nothing wants the strongest impact. That combination could help the Phone 4b stand out in a crowded market where many devices now look and feel similar on paper.
What the leak says about the hardware
According to tipster Yogesh Brar, the Phone 4b is expected to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. That setup should offer smoother scrolling, more responsive gaming, and a better viewing experience for video.
Performance is said to come from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset. That choice points clearly to a mid-range position and suggests that Nothing is focusing on practical daily performance and power efficiency.
The camera setup is also beginning to take shape. The leak mentions a 50MP rear camera, although details about the secondary rear camera have not been revealed yet.
Nothing’s own teaser had already confirmed that the Phone 4b will include at least two rear cameras. Earlier material also showed what appeared to be a third camera-like element, but its exact function remains unconfirmed.
Battery life could be the main selling point
One of the most notable details in the leak is the battery. The Phone 4b is said to carry a 5,400mAh battery, which is relatively large for its class and could become a key advantage if paired with the efficient Snapdragon 6 Gen 4.
That capacity may matter more than flashy specs for buyers who prioritize endurance. In the mid-range segment, strong battery life often becomes one of the most persuasive reasons to choose one model over another.
Memory options and color choices
Yogesh Brar also says the Phone 4b will come in two storage configurations. The expected options are 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage.
The phone is also expected to arrive in three color options. The names of those colors have not been revealed, but the range suggests Nothing is still treating design as a core part of the product identity.
A design language closer to CMF
Before the leak surfaced, Nothing had already shown the first official look at the Phone 4b. The company confirmed a large camera island on the back and a vertical Glyph bar that looks similar to the one used on the Nothing Phone 4a.
The more surprising part is the design direction itself. The rear panel reportedly borrows heavily from CMF’s industrial aesthetic, with exposed screws and a wide camera housing that make it feel closer to CMF hardware than to a typical Nothing phone.
That visual approach could be one of the device’s biggest differentiators. In a segment where many phones are competing with nearly identical specifications, a more distinctive physical design can help a model stay memorable.
On paper, the leaked specifications are not dramatic. A Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chip, a 120Hz AMOLED panel, and a 50MP main camera are all familiar ingredients in the mid-range category.
Even so, Nothing appears to be building the Phone 4b around more than just a spec sheet. The Glyph bar, the CMF-like industrial look, and the promise of a large battery could together create a device that feels more distinctive than many of its direct rivals.
Several details are still missing, including the full capabilities of the secondary camera and other elements outside the core specifications. For now, the clearest picture is that Nothing is preparing a mid-range phone with a large battery, two storage variants, 120Hz display support, and a design language intended to leave a stronger impression than most phones in its class.
