That direction is already visible in the official claims shared by OnePlus. The company says the phone is scheduled to launch in China on 28 April 2026, and the first details point to a model that tries to balance endurance, speed, and reliability rather than focusing on one headline feature alone.
A battery-first flagship
The most prominent specification is the 8,600mAh battery. OnePlus says the capacity is slightly larger than the Redmi K90 Max, and it is paired with a gaming claim that stands out: up to 7 hours of gameplay.
For users who spend long stretches in mobile games, that figure is the main selling point. OnePlus appears to be targeting players who want to avoid interruptions caused by frequent charging.
