10,001mAh in a Slim Body, realme P4 Power 5G Redefines Battery Expectations

A smartphone battery crossing the 10,000mAh mark is no longer a distant concept. realme P4 Power 5G arrives with a 10,001mAh battery, a figure that immediately puts battery endurance at the center of the conversation.

The device is being presented as the first mass-produced smartphone in the world with that capacity. That claim alone is enough to challenge what users may expect from a long-lasting phone, especially in a market that is more familiar with much smaller battery sizes.

A large battery without the usual bulk

Big batteries often bring thicker bodies and heavier frames, but realme tries to avoid that trade-off here. The P4 Power 5G measures 9.08 mm thick and weighs 219 grams, which keeps it relatively practical for a phone with such a large cell.

That balance matters because endurance-focused phones are often judged not only by how long they last, but also by how comfortable they are to use every day. realme is clearly trying to show that extreme battery life does not have to mean an unwieldy design.

Titan battery technology and long-term safety

Behind the huge capacity, realme uses its latest silicon-carbon anode technology. The company says this approach helps improve efficiency and keep power delivery stable, so the large battery can be managed more effectively.

Safety is also a major part of the pitch. realme says the phone is built to handle harsh conditions, from very cold temperatures to high heat, and it carries TÜV Five Star Battery Safety certification.

The battery is also claimed to support up to 1,650 charging cycles. That figure suggests the battery health is intended to stay strong over long-term use, not only in the short term.

Fast charging and reverse charging add flexibility

A battery this large naturally raises concerns about charging time, but realme addresses that with 80W fast charging. With this setup, the battery is said to reach 50 percent in around 36 minutes.

The phone also supports 27W reverse charging. In practice, that means the P4 Power 5G can act as a power bank for other devices when needed.

For users who travel often or carry multiple gadgets, that feature adds a practical layer to the phone’s already ambitious battery setup. It turns the device into more than just a handset, since it can also serve as an emergency power source.

Performance and display are not left behind

Battery life may be the headline, but realme does not frame the phone as a one-dimensional device. It uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra 5G chipset, which is intended to balance efficiency and performance.

That choice points to support for multitasking and gaming, both of which benefit from a combination of capable hardware and strong battery reserves. The message is clear: the phone is built to stay active for longer while still handling demanding use.

The display also supports that positioning. realme equips the phone with an AMOLED panel that refreshes at 144Hz, aiming for a sharp and responsive viewing experience.

High brightness is also part of the package, helping the screen remain comfortable to view in different lighting conditions. The faster refresh rate should make scrolling, gaming, and app switching feel smoother as well.

Design language and durability round out the package

realme also introduces a Visible Power Design for the P4 Power 5G. The look combines matte and transparent elements, giving the device a more futuristic appearance than many battery-heavy phones.

Durability is another focus. The phone carries an IP69 rating for water and dust resistance, along with extra protection for tougher usage scenarios.

That combination of design and durability helps position the P4 Power 5G for users with specific needs, especially those who want longer battery life without giving up resilience. It is aimed at people who need a device that can keep going and still cope with demanding conditions.

The phone is already available in India starting from around Rp4 jutaan, while its official price in Indonesia has not been announced yet. With its 10,001mAh battery, fast charging support, and rugged positioning, the realme P4 Power 5G is shaping up to be a serious contender in the large-battery smartphone segment.
