The strongest sign that iQOO is preparing a more ambitious midrange push is not the chipset or the display. It is the combination of a 9,020mAh battery, 90W fast charging, and a body that is still said to measure only 8.25 mm thick.
That mix is unusual in this segment, where large batteries often come with a bulkier design. iQOO Z11 now looks even closer to a wider rollout after both iQOO Z11 and iQOO Z11x appeared on Vivo Malaysia’s online store.
A global version that is not identical to the China model
The Malaysia teaser confirms Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 for the global iQOO Z11. That is an important difference, because the China version of iQOO Z11 uses MediaTek Dimensity 8500.
This mismatch suggests the international model will not simply mirror the domestic one. A report also points to the possibility that the global version could arrive as a rebranded Vivo T5 Pro.
Another clue comes from a global Geekbench listing tied to model number Vivo I2512. Taken together, the signs point to a separate international configuration rather than a direct copy of the China release.
What the hardware package appears to include
The battery is the headline feature, but the rest of the spec sheet is also built to stand out. The global iQOO Z11 is said to carry a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate.
On the camera side, the phone is reported to use a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS. It is joined by a 2-megapixel depth sensor, while selfie duties are handled by a 16-megapixel front camera.
The device is also said to have IP68 and IP69 certification. That places it in a category that aims for both endurance and high-level resistance to dust and water.
Launch signals are already visible in more than one market
Malaysia appears to be the clearest sign that the rollout is moving forward. Pre-reservations there opened on 27 April, and the launch is scheduled for 6 May.
India is the other market drawing attention, especially because the iQOO Z11x has already arrived there. That earlier model launched in India in March, which leaves room for the regular iQOO Z11 to follow.
The India-bound Z11x uses the Dimensity 7400 Turbo, a 7,200mAh battery, and 44W charging. It comes with 8GB of RAM, 128GB or 256GB of storage, and Silver or Black color options, with an introductory price starting at Rs 18,999.
Positioning above the Z11x in India
If iQOO brings the Z11 to India, it is expected to sit higher in the lineup. Early estimates place it in the Rs 25,000 to Rs 35,000 range.
That would keep clear distance from the Z11x while reflecting the stronger hardware package on paper. For comparison, the China price of iQOO Z11 is listed at CNY 2,299, although the global version may not follow the same configuration.
The global model is also said to run Android 16 and come in 8GB and 12GB RAM variants. Storage is listed at 256GB, while Blue and Black are mentioned as color options.
For now, the most compelling part of the iQOO Z11 story is how it combines a very large battery with a slim profile and fast charging. If the current signs hold, it could become one of the more closely watched midrange launches in markets beyond China.
