Urban Republic is marking its 10th anniversary with a sharper retail presence and a bigger push toward connected shopping. The gadget chain now operates 61 stores, up from just three when it started, giving it broader access to urban consumers across major cities.
That expansion has come alongside stronger business performance across both physical and digital channels. In 2026, average purchases in its stores rose 53% year on year, while loyalty activity through Member MyEraspace surged 326%.
The company’s omnichannel approach has also gained traction. Offline sales climbed 327%, and online sales increased 315%, indicating that its combined shopping model is working across channels.
Urban Republic positions its stores around three main strengths: easy access, 100% product authenticity, and a broad product lineup. Shoppers can find everything from premium smartphones to advanced smart home devices, with all products covered by official TAM warranty.
The physical store remains central to that strategy because it offers more than transactions. Customers can test technology directly through an interactive brand experience, while Online-to-Offline services let them choose delivery or pickup based on their needs.
Payment flexibility is part of the package as well. Urban Republic supports 0% installments and trade-in programs, making it easier for customers to get the devices they want without paying everything upfront.
To celebrate the anniversary, Urban Republic launched a special campaign called “Traktiran Ulang Tahun.” Running from April to May 2026, the program offers discounts of up to Rp2,6 million.
The promotion also includes up to two months of installment relief through selected financing partners. Some transactions may also receive extra 3x MyEraspace Points and an instant reward in the form of an exclusive Reversible Jacket merchandise item.
Djohan Sutanto, CEO of Erajaya Active Lifestyle, described the brand’s 10-year journey as a reflection of how people’s relationship with technology has changed. He said Urban Republic was built to provide original and complete gadget choices, from premium smartphones to smart home products.
Beyond commerce, Urban Republic has been running the UR Zero Waste CSR program since 2025. The initiative invites people to donate used gadgets for responsible recycling in order to reduce the impact of electronic waste.
The program has reached DKI Jakarta, East Java, and Bali. Urban Republic says the energy savings from the initiative have reached 65,700 kWh, equivalent to planting 1,463 trees.
Urban Republic also sees itself as a wider community ecosystem where creators can share ideas and inspiration. With its store expansion, stronger sales channels, and social programs in place, the brand enters its next decade with a focus on Smart Ecosystem Preservation.
