RedMagic is taking a sharper approach with the 11S Pro series by splitting the lineup into two models that serve slightly different gaming priorities. The RedMagic 11S Pro and RedMagic 11S Pro+ share the same core platform, but battery size, charging speed, and memory options make the two phones feel tailored for different types of heavy users.
At the center of both devices is Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, but RedMagic has pushed the chip harder than before. The company raises its clock speed to 4.74GHz, matching the level used by the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, while the previous RedMagic 11 Pro series used the regular 4.61GHz version.
Performance Built for Long Gaming Sessions
To support that faster chipset, both phones use LPDDR5T RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. The RedMagic 11S Pro comes with 12/256GB, while the RedMagic 11S Pro+ expands the lineup with 12/256GB, 16/512GB, and 16GB/1TB options.
RedMagic also adds its Redcore R4 chip to the gaming experience. It is used to optimize lighting effects, rendering speed, touch response, and higher resolution and frame rate performance during play.
Cooling, Controls, and Display
The series is built around gaming-first hardware, including shoulder triggers with touch sensitivity up to 520Hz. RedMagic also uses liquid-based cooling and an internal fan, with the fan capable of spinning up to 24,000 rpm and producing a maximum noise level of 30 dB.
The front design stays clean for uninterrupted viewing. Both models hide a 16MP selfie camera under the display, avoiding notches and punch holes entirely.
The screen itself uses a 6.85-inch BOE X10 panel with a 1216 x 2688 pixel resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 2000 nits peak brightness. On the back, the phones carry two 50MP cameras, with the main camera featuring an f/1.88 aperture and OIS, while the ultrawide camera uses an f/2.0 aperture.
Battery Strategy Separates the Two Models
The biggest difference between the two phones comes from battery and charging. The RedMagic 11S Pro carries an 8000 mAh battery with 80W wired charging through USB Type-C.
The RedMagic 11S Pro+ uses a smaller 7500 mAh battery, but it compensates with 120W wired charging and 80W wireless charging. Both phones support bypass charging, which helps reduce battery strain during use while plugged in.
Price and Availability in China
In China, the RedMagic 11S Pro starts at 5.499 yuan for the 12/256GB model. The RedMagic 11S Pro+ starts at 6.199 yuan for 12/256GB, while the 16/512GB version costs 6.999 yuan and the 16GB/1TB model is priced at 7.999 yuan.
The available color choices are limited to black and silver. Both phones also include a 3.5 mm audio jack, stereo speakers, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, and an IPX8 rating.
For now, there is no confirmed word on a global launch, but the hardware package makes it clear that RedMagic is aiming at users who want maximum gaming performance without compromise.
