Two upcoming OnePlus phones are already drawing attention before any official launch, and the main reason is hard to miss: both are built around unusually large batteries for the segment. OnePlus Turbo 6X is listed with a 7,000 mAh battery, while the Turbo 6X Pro steps up to 8,000 mAh.

The pair has also surfaced in Google Play Console, which adds weight to the leak and suggests that OnePlus is preparing two models with clearly different positions. Both devices are expected to arrive first in China, and both run Android 16 with ColorOS 16 on top.

A more modest Turbo 6X

Turbo 6X appears to be the simpler of the two, but it still carries specifications that stand out in the midrange class. It uses a 6.72-inch LCD panel with FHD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.

Under the display, OnePlus is said to use the Dimensity 7400 chipset. Memory options include 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB of RAM, while storage variants go from 128GB to 256GB and 512GB.

The camera setup is straightforward. The phone is listed with a 50MP main camera, a 2MP secondary sensor, and an 8MP front camera.

OnePlus also places the fingerprint sensor on the side of the body for this model. That choice fits the more practical direction of the device, where battery size and core hardware seem to matter more than premium extras.

Turbo 6X Pro pushes higher

Turbo 6X Pro moves into more premium territory with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display and 1.5K resolution. It is powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, which places it above the standard Turbo 6X in overall positioning.

The Pro model also offers a wider range of RAM choices. Buyers are expected to see 6GB, 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB options, along with storage variants that start at 128GB and go up to 1TB.

Its battery is one of the biggest highlights. The 8,000 mAh capacity gives Turbo 6X Pro a clear identity, especially when paired with an AMOLED screen.

Camera and biometrics set the two apart

The photography hardware also helps separate the two phones. Turbo 6X Pro uses a 50MP main camera together with an 8MP ultrawide lens, while the selfie camera is listed at 16MP.

On Turbo 6X, the second 2MP sensor is described as decorative, which leaves the 50MP main camera as the real workhorse. The biometric system is different as well, with the Turbo 6X using a side-mounted fingerprint reader and the Turbo 6X Pro moving to an in-display sensor.

Signs point to an early launch window

Both devices have now been seen in Google Play Console, and they had already passed TENAA certification in China. The appearance of device images alongside the listings makes their design and identity easier to recognize ahead of the official announcement.

There is also a global naming link attached to the two models. Turbo 6X is associated with Nord CE6 Lite, while Turbo 6X Pro is linked to Nord CE6.

No pricing details have surfaced so far, but the combination of certification records, Google Play Console listings, and leaked specifications suggests that the Chinese launch is getting close.
