A 20,000mAh power bank usually signals extra bulk and extra planning. Xiaomi is trying to remove one of those annoyances by building the USB-C cable directly into the device, turning it into a more convenient option for daily carry and travel.
The product is already on sale through Xiaomi Youpin in China for 149 yuan. It combines a large battery pack with a compact form factor and a built-in accessory, which makes it stand out in a category where users often have to remember both the power bank and the cable.
Built for fewer things in the bag
The integrated USB-C cable is the main feature that separates this model from many standard power banks. Since USB-C is now the charging standard for a wide range of modern devices, the built-in cable should reduce clutter for people who move between work, commuting, and travel.
Xiaomi does not stop at the attached cable. The power bank also includes one additional USB-C port and one USB-A port, giving users more flexibility when charging different devices at the same time.
Charging options stay practical
All three output paths support charging speeds of up to 22.5W. That is not a headline-grabbing number, but it is enough for many smaller devices such as earbuds and smartwatches.
Xiaomi also says the power bank supports 22.5W two-way charging. That means the unit can charge connected devices and refill its own battery at the same speed.
A larger battery that still suits air travel
Inside the body, Xiaomi uses two 10,000mAh cells to reach a total capacity of 20,000mAh. The listed total energy is 74Wh, which matters because it stays below the 100Wh limit commonly applied by airlines for cabin batteries.
That detail makes the power bank more appealing for frequent flyers who want a high-capacity backup without worrying about typical carry-on battery limits. Xiaomi also gives specific charging claims, saying the device can bring a Xiaomi 17 to around 25% in 30 minutes and an iPhone 17 to around 46% in the same time.
Simple design, modest weight
Visually, Xiaomi keeps the design restrained. The power bank comes in light gray and dark gray, with rounded edges and a straightforward look that matches its functional focus.
It weighs about 343 grams. That is reasonable for a 20,000mAh model, even though it will still feel like a substantial item in a daily bag.
Multiple devices at once
The mix of an attached cable, a separate USB-C port, and a USB-A port also makes multi-device charging easier. A user can power a phone while still connecting another gadget, which is useful for people carrying a smartphone, TWS earbuds, a smartwatch, or other small electronics.
Xiaomi also says the unit includes protection against overcharge, overheating, short circuits, and other common power-bank risks. Those safeguards are standard for portable charging products, but they remain important in a larger-capacity device like this one.
The launch adds another practical option to Xiaomi’s charging accessory lineup, with the clearest appeal likely going to commuters and travelers who prefer a power bank that does not require an extra cable in the bag. For now, the device is available in China, and there is no information yet about a wider release.
