RTX Spark Prices That Could Challenge MacBook Pro, Nvidia Targets Premium Laptops

Nvidia is preparing a new premium laptop platform that could put direct pressure on the MacBook Pro segment. The first pricing signals are already aggressive, with Morgan Stanley estimating that models based on chip N1 will start at Rp28 jutaan, while the N1x variant is projected to begin at Rp46 jutaan.

That pricing places RTX Spark squarely in the upper tier of the laptop market, where performance, display quality, and portability matter most. Nvidia is also aiming beyond a single flagship device, building an ecosystem that includes Microsoft Surface, Dell, Asus, HP, and Lenovo.

Two price levels, two user targets

The entry-level N1 model is expected to land around $1,799 globally, making it the more accessible option in the lineup. It is positioned for users who want a balance between strong performance and mobility.

Above it, the N1x is projected at $2,899, or around Rp46 jutaan, which places it among the most expensive thin-and-light laptops in the market. Both tiers are expected to launch with relatively high base configurations, including 16 GB or 32 GB of RAM and 512 GB to 1 TB of SSD storage.

Built for creators, not just general users

RTX Spark is clearly aimed at professionals and content creators who need serious computing power in a portable form. The early hardware shown so far also reflects that focus, with many models using OLED, mini LED, or tandem OLED panels.

Tandem OLED stands out as one of the key selling points because it offers better brightness and contrast than conventional displays. That puts RTX Spark in direct competition with the display standards many users already associate with MacBook Pro.

Early devices already on display

Several manufacturers have already shown RTX Spark laptops at Computex 2026. Microsoft introduced the Surface Laptop Ultra 15-inch with a mini LED touchscreen, while Asus brought the ProArt P16 and P14 for creative workflows.

Dell joined the lineup with the XPS 16 Creator Edition, featuring the RTX Spark superchip and a tandem OLED display. HP also unveiled the OmniBook X 14 and OmniBook Ultra 16, which it described as the thinnest RTX Spark laptops announced so far.

MSI presented the Prestige N16 Flip AI+ as a 2-in-1 device with a UHD+ tandem OLED screen, while Lenovo prepared the Yoga Pro 9n as another option for creative professionals.

More models are still coming

Although only eight main models have been revealed so far, Nvidia says this is just the beginning. The company is targeting as many as 30 laptop models and 10 desktop models for the official launch in the fall.

Nvidia is also leaving room for other brands such as Acer and Gigabyte to join the ecosystem later. If that expansion happens as planned, RTX Spark could become one of the broadest premium computing platforms in the market.

For buyers, the appeal is clear: more options in a premium category that prioritizes performance, high-end displays, and modern design. With prices starting at Rp28 jutaan, Nvidia is making a serious move into territory long dominated by the MacBook Pro.
